I'm wishful to give feedback bout solo q
They should revert back to the old system. I don’t make any friends with solo que due to no reason for anyone to become your friend. Its because they just like solo que and that’s that, the old system you had better odds if you was in a party with someone and that creates people to play together. Just look at what people say about team que… its dead. Why separate the ques, all you had to do was make a better match making system.
Also with solo que everyone is just more kitteny than before.

Pre “PvP patch” i was top 100 with 60%+ win rate, playing everyday.
Now i’ve 54% win rate, struggling in everymatch.
The more i play, the more i go down.
And before people says " it will even out in the long run", all i can say is that you have literally no understanding of math and statistics.

Ya that’s exactly why. I hear nothing but ‘you suck’ ‘my team sucks’ all day everyday in this solo que. Its like everyone sucks, so why are you playing solo que if everyone in solo que sucks.
Too much dissing and people that are kitteny that nobody wants to be friends with anyone else and why bother trying to form a team if you know team que is just full of those players that don’t ‘suck’.
I read some comment somewhere I guess they did some balance patch or something and rangers got buffed, but they still mad because they buffed wrong spots. Well that’s how I am in pvp, they didn’t need to create two separate ques, all they needed to do was create a better matchmaking system. But instead they tried to make something totally not needed to be better. Which doesn’t solve anything. Before than leaderboards wasn’t good, still aint good. Before than tournaments weren’t good, and its STILL not good. Especially aint good when people say teamque is dead.
Basically if teamque is dead, that means nobody is playing together (as in partied up, maybe in teamspeak, vent, or mumble). When people don’t play together in MMORPG’s that’s a bad thing.

I have decided to take a break from GW2 PvP for a short while, and SoloQ is one of the reasons why… You see, I could not always (read almost never) get a team so I did some SoloQ to fill my time…
The main problem is though, you play a team game as a Solo player, however, chances for someone like me, who has not played over 5k games, cannot carry teams to victory – your personal influence on the match can be literally 0 depending on your team’s peformance, and if you get the butt end, people will blame your for their own faillures, this is how people work…
You cannot expect every SoloQ match to have people who are on your same level of understanding and play, and again, your personal influence is neglectible unless you play support Guardian, and do it extremely well…
There should be a gamemode within the game like 1v1 Arenas, where your own actions decide whether you win or lose… Letting it depend on 4 others is inviting people for flaming others… it is simply not healthy…

If my thread is silly then your answer is utterly ignorant.
I’m complaining about a system that is OBVIOUSLY not working.
If you take a look at these forums you’ll see even top players arguing about the uselessness of solo q leaderboard due to how broken some things are ( matchmaking, skyhammer, 4vs5 etc. etc.).
If these things are broken it means the system is not working like it should, in fact it isn’t.
Things won’t even out in the long run: the equation is so full of variables ( like team comp, DCs and afkers/leechers, or even simple bad matchmaking due to the system favouring fast match ups over balanced ones) that make solo q pure randomness and nothing more.
If u succeed you’re not more skilled, you’re just luckier, and it’s been like this for a while now to the point that solo q at time of “sync q” was a better representation of your skill, since you couldn’t break top 100 due to “sync queuers” and the most skilled players were all around there.
Point is, just because u like to eat kitten it doesn’t mean kitten is gud for your health.
