Guild Wars 2

Apparently the longer I play this game, the worse I get. Last year I won most of my match ups and my teammates seemed to know where to be at the right time.

Now I cannot win a game… If I fight on point, I get ragged dolled around by turrets, 3 shot by a lich, or hit with 2k ranger auto attacks from a completely different map. My teammates are off fighting svanir 2v1 or chasing a shoutbow around off point. When I finally cap something and try to rotate to a different point, we get back capped. Then the turret engi on our team is raging in chat, “omg l2p. get carried”

I know my MMR can’t be high, since I’m losing 9/10 matches.

The only obvious answer is that I’ve become terrible at this game.

Any advice? Or should I just go ‘1 spam’ dragons / wvw blobs.

Watch streams of top pvp’ers.

It’s difficult to just throw out some tips here and there.

You can always try and team up with others and get on ts. You can learn together and there’ll be less rage.

I just don’t understand how I go from a 60% win rate over a spree of 1500 matches. To not being able to win a single game.

Don’t let it get to you. :p Just keep going.

It’s probably just a bad streak, don’t worry. But I can see where your complain is coming from: the “average” meta has shifted to a lot of projectiles and ranged power attacks (I see more scepter elementalists than dd lately), so you might want to tweak your build a little to have more blocks/reflects/gap closers.
