This is just unaccetable and ruins every competition. Bring ranked back as soon as possible. If this doesn’t work then your system is kitten and you should change it.

See this isn’t about me but about getting the message to arenanet that players will quit if they continue like that. But I guess I overestimated your smallish brain capacities to understand this simple relation.

If you like competition so much why don’t you assemble a competitive teams and go to tournaments. There is plenty to practice and learn during the off season, you as a member of a competitive team should have plenty to do in that time.

I mean…. assuming you DO like real competition. You can also play in all the community tournaments that are going on as I write this reply.

The silent customer that leaves is the worst for any business, but lets be real any issues are fully out in the open now and if not already fixed don’t expect it in the near future because you cry. Your 1st world problems don’t seem to trump theirs.

Please devs, delete this post… it’s so stupid my head hurts…. and to Dojo, this game isn’t just about PvP and ranked so please go play something else. Like someone suggested tournaments or then leave. So what? There are players like me who play PvE and WvW off season and it doesnt bother me.

From my experience, I found Unranked to have better quality than Ranked. The games I had there were fun, close games. In Ranked it was just blowout games. I’d win 8/10 games, so losing wasn’t an issue, but there wasn’t much competition to be had.

Its not about being able to play….i doubt that any higher rated person has any issue with most of the players i see in unranked.

Its about it being less enjoyable since the avg skillevel / quality of the game is lower.

Some people just got way to used to farming newby teams with their not so newby teams and now that it’s more challenging they are crying a river. That’s what happens when you hand things to people on a silver platter for free then tell them they have to work for it. I find it hilarious

Ofcourse unranked is better for you….since youre below average and games are filled with a mix of everything including legendary players.

I only soloq (like a lot of players at legend). It speaks for itself that at legend + in rated matches are over all better than what they are now.

Has nothing to do with winning losing or w/e. The quality of players is just lower right now. Which makes it less enjoyable.

Just to give you an idea: these are the games i played today. 1 close loss due to 1 guy being dced from the start + 1 afker half off the match untill he realized it was actually winnable. You know that sapphire mentality …

Most of the games where blowout wins as u can see. So no its not more challenging…

Exactly, playing a game for the sake of having fun, it seems that most people forget what games were supposed to accomplish.

Another reason I’ve always dislikes the whole “Meta” kitten. God forbid you for actually thinking for yourself and trying things that aren’t posted in a website.

Proceed to complain at the PvP subforums if you somehow do not win 100% of your matches. Ask for nerfs to whatever you don’t like. Buff all the kitten I like!

I actually complain here because I DO win 100% of my matches. Unranked is just boring and some people clearly should not be in the same game as me. This is why I stopped playing but whatever.

I admit, using myself as an example for players that stop playing because of this idiotic ranked break was a mistake. Ofcourse nobody gives a kitten about what I do. Arenanet should give a kitten though because apparently I am not the only one thinking like that.

I have finally even heard the inevitable words: ’it’s unranked so what does it matter’ today. In the same game I was playing against ranger who all I need to do was longbow 5, headbutt, shattering blow, F2, weapon swap, and sword f1 and it was over. Did this 4 times – the exact same rotation – over the course of the game and he was dead.

I don’t understand where’s the enjoyment for me or that poor guy who’s a beginner for that matter. However you look at it. I may get somewhat frustrated here and there, but a beginner will just get downright sick of the game after a couple of those moments. At least I would – I wouldn’t want to feel like someone’s mocking me like that. And most games have players like that either on my team or opponent’s.

Not to mention 1 in 3 games at least and I find afk players when games begin. Not even this much. Nobody takes it seriously and I’m past the point where I can play for the hell of it. Unranked is fine for testing builds, but I can’t test builds for one whole month.

How is a system like this a good medium for tests for last patch changes and for next league…

Also I find it sad that I finally see my warrior back at on his feet with this patch, but I have to wait for a whole month to be able to see what he can really do…

People think about beginners now in unranked but what about all the beginners in ranked that got put all on 1 team together to get slaughtered by an entire team of experienced people…. no 1 was worried about the beginners then, and I’m pretty sure they weren’t having any fun or learning anything in matches like that. A lot of beginners and even some non beginners who got put on a team with em due to low mmr from playing way too much were only in ranked in S2 to feed everyone else and never progress no matter what they did. Ironic. But yea lets worry about the beginners now that we have to have them in our teams sometimes >.<
