There are tons of guides online from people that don’t mind sharing builds, and insight.

If you could see team traits before the game starts you could know exactly who to target first, how many stun breakers everyone has, ect. Plus you could have people swapping skills/traits around it hardcounter condi builds and other things.

This is surely not the reason, since everyone are running the same meta-builds.
If the opponent team has a mesmer i know exactly what build he is running.

Keep it a secret and figure out their strategy is part of the fun. Even so, you know their build, weapon, elites, trait, etc…, 1m34s is too short to discuss anything decent with so many Infos given, not mention discuss trait, tactics, weapon to counter them, etc… And also the same happened to the opposite. You change and the moment they change, you change again. In the end, why does it matter??
