I got an idea hiw to enlarge the pvp player pool a little bit (pleas help me to judge if it is a good idea)

After each match, there pops up a new option “continue fighting in this group” – this would keep the group (or those who stay) together and Q (but unlike real groups, those player are handled like solo players (or the existing groups that are in there already) and just search new enemys in the same MMR/pip range as previously

Why should this enlarge the player pool?

Psychology! If you win/have a really close match you are more likely to stay in this group and make a few more battles, because you knew you would have the same team (don’t touch the running system) – this would encurage players to play more as they intended to do and therefore enlarge the pvp player pool a little bit

And let’s be honest, if i stay, most of the time i end up with some of the same players anyway – if i knew it would be those i just had a good run, i would stay longer

Now why shouldn’t those groups be treatend like normal groups? They are all already on a similar skill level and don’t use an TS and therefore are still just a bunch of randoms

I agree with everything except the last bit isn’t all too accurate. Sometimes players have waited days in queue so matchmaking trys to accommodate by pulling something together that may or may not be even as far as average mmr is concerned.

Mmr wouldnt be the same if 2, 3, or 4 players join up afterwards because their mmr all together is a team average. Losimg players would change the team average.

Anet would need to change how matchmaking allocated the next round to make the team have a reasonable mmr to choose players to add. Also if the team has full Ruby with 1 Diamond, all players are now considered Diamond. Matchmaking may have placed them on a team due to time allowance or a lucky match just came up.. If players stayed together, the wait time could be the same but now effecting those who just joined, unaware of a previous wait time and/or players may not be too happy with that higher division player on the team.

I personally think showing Divisions in the game should be removed.
