They should not be auto-balanced to the other team. Ever. It is not fair to the player nor to either team.

I just played a match on Raid of Capricorn in which all players left but me and one other. I capped all of the other player’s points and they quit after another player came in (on my team) and I defeated them in a duel. I was auto-balanced to the other team, allowing the person who just joined to reap the reward from my efforts.

AB needs to be rethought. More often than not, it creates unfair games.

It’s not much of a difference to win or lose the match. When you’re auto-transferred to another group, you still carry your points with you. Only thing you lose is your win bonus, which is not that huge…

It’s the principle of the thing. A player who has contributed heavily to the side of one team only to be swapped to the other has essentially shot himself in the foot. Others are reaping the benefit of his actions and he is penalized for it by not receiving the win bonus (even if it is “not that huge.”)
