You forgot that druids weren’t nerfed either. And they can blast a light field too. They used to be weak to conditions, but they might not quite so much anymore.
A bit of hyperbole but pretty much right. Although skilled mesmer and thief players will be fine. I see no reason for playing a Necro Ill tell you that right now. Many will try power I guess but it still sucks imo. Condi Necro though I don’t know why anyone would put up with being targeted first and dieing over and over again anymore and our main form of damage basically not effecting Warrior for long or not at all and there being Warriors all over the place because of how strong they are for solo queue. I bow to our Warrior overlords.

They did nerf druids multiple times in the past, nothing can compare to stacked traps on the point, it’s stupid design.
But at the very least a concrete comment is always welcome, better reading comments like this than wasting time reading gibberish

hihi this druid traps. A friend uses condi trapper … It´s sometimes funny, but its garbage in teamfights after a few seconds. He needs to disengage soon. On the other side he drops thiefs with stacked traps … Thief can´t cleanse without evade and drops. It´s fast and can duel well so works in solo Q.
All those people been stacking scrappers, haven’t seen them. Barely ever see another scrapper on my team or enemy team. Kiting scrapper must be hard for some people I guess.
I do know since the update, guards are 10 times harder to kill, and warriors are ridiculous. There is no good reason to play anything else, they can literally sit on point and spam abilities with ridiculous sustain.

Just recently fought both a Berserker and Dragonhunter tonight in a match. Destroyed both of them every time I saw them, but nothing new there. Not to mention Anet buffed my Marauder Elixir Scrapper, so that was pleasant. But you can’t just ignore patch notes and say Dragonhunters and Berserker are magically harder to kill now.

Healing is only a small part of sustain in general. Besides healing, sustain includes total health pool, toughness, in-combat mobility, blocks, access to defensive boons (protection, aegis, regeneration, resistance…), access to impairing conditions (blind, taunt…), stealth, teleport, condition clear and its variations, combos, class-specific mechanisms – and of course the CD of skills and traits, enabling effective skill rotations.
Comparing healing capabilities only across classes is unfortunately pointless, as it is of too limited a scope. Comparing builds is more useful if they’re supposed to fulfill the same roles, in which case some classes will emerge stronger than others at certain roles – sometimes by nature (e.g. cannot argue too much with thief’s evades and mobility) and sometimes by lack of balance.
And we’re not even talking about team comps and synergies between classes / builds, which provide significant bonuses the larger the fight becomes.
I’m afraid the community will not be considered seriously by the company, until players start to put in a decent amount of effort in making strong analyses – the least of it being stating contexts (classes, builds, comps) and efforts (hours spent in understanding a nemesis, by playing it in ranked games, duels and other skirmishes).

i played menders engi for a laugh yesterday. sustain is absolutely unreal. way better than DH or warrior, & a lot of it is AOE that helps my team too. so i guess warrior & DH heal less than a menders build, but that’s not what i meant. i meant warrior & DH heal less than they used to.
warrior has only self heal, & DH’s only group heal is the wings. so comparing their healing to a support build is just stupid, as a support build has primarily support skills. that’s why support builds are pushed towards healing power, to make them exchange damage for support. warrior doesn’t need healing power unless you run shouts, & hey thats a support build. this is because warrior needs self sustain to survive in pvp. the amount of healing might seem excessive to some, but if you consider HoT as a whole its just what’s needed to combat the insane damage we have now.
in short self healing is not comparable with group healing. one has an exponential effect, the other doesn’t. support builds will run support stats, dps builds will run damage stats. the trade off between damage & sustain is in the traits & utilities for damage builds. warrior could be doing so much more damage than it does now if it dropped defence.
but hey, i know you’ll only be happy when DH & warrior are free kills, so i don’t know why i bother to reply.
