Out of curiosity, for those who have already been skipped 3 divisions in initial placement before last season’s title was deactivated, will that make it impossible to get the new seasons title?

The Illustrious Legend achievement from season 3 was unintentionally left active with the launch of season 4. We have disabled this achievement’s progress, preventing players from completing the achievement outside of season 3.

I hope you are doing a rollback on people who illegitimately gained progress on this achievement. Everyone who had diamond last season got it completed after playing their first match this season. Maybe some ruby players from last season also grinded through emerald to saphire this season?

I am sure it would be even easier to rollback the progress on that title than it was for the GWAMM title rollback. Heck, it is a single digit on the achievement page which can be compared to the progress last season which is still shown in the PvP panel. So much simpler than all the pieces that make up the GWAMM title. At least on paper.

I am looking to get better, I don’t enjoy stomping people that can’t fight back or do not know what they are doing.

I agree, but will Anet invest that effort?

Sad, patch happened and still no new season achievement

pretty clear by their silence that they don’t intend to put any more effort into the title system they set up.

it’ll probably shock you that anet started something and then dumped it, so very unlike them.

not that it matters I guess, from the games I’ve played so far of this season, this is going to be the worst by far to play in. So many gimmicky busted specs right now that I would be embarrassed to have another legendary emblem next to my name.

Of course it would not suprise me if Anet scrapped the title system for pvp seasons, but the new titles for upcoming seasons were already datamined.

Are we going to get a title for getting to legendary this season? or no title at all?
