Heya, folks. PvP noob here. As noobish as they come.

So I want to start working towards getting the absolutely gorgeous, ethereal-emanating, orgasm-inducing Legendary backpiece, The Ascension. However, I need to play ranked matches, but I’m not rank 20 yet.

So far I’ve been playing on servers meant for dailies, in which one team gets to cap all three zones, and then teams switch at Bear throughout the match. Then the other team gets to cap, etc… It’s worked quite nicely, I’d say, seeing as I’ve already reached level 12. Still, I wish there was a faster way of doing things.

Any advice?

getting rank 20 is the PvE equivalent of earning 5 gold…

just play normally and you’ll get it without going out of your way to farm for it.

There is no advice to be given. Just count on your team to win you the game when you play ranked, it’s fine :=)

try playing in unranked since you are pvp rank 12.

you can participate in unranked conquest mode once your pvp rank is at least 10.

if you win in unranked, u get 1500 rank points at least, if you lose in unranked, you get 500 rank points at least.

but do try your best to win for the team ya !

Queued with a guildie last night who was rank 0 in pvp. It looks like they took the cap off of what rank you have to be for unranked. So try giving unranked a shot, since you’ll get more rank points per win than you will with a hotjoin.
