Are you guys planning to split up the ranks for each of our characters soon? The reason I ask is I play a lot of Street Fighter 4. I get a global account rank there, but I also get an individual character rank. That way my Zangief has a totally different rank than my Ryu. My poor play on a character doesn’t affect my main as it were, but I am still able to do ranked matches if I so choose.

Each character gets a letter grade and numbered ranking. I think all the ranks should get numbered ranks here in GW2 as well. I would love to see profession ranks too. If I am in the top 250 for Elementalists, I would like to know. Maybe I could set a goal to be in the top 1000 for Thieves. I think there are a ton of things that could be done to improve the system and also it would be cool to have those individual ranks so I don’t feel like I am tanking my ranking by playing something other than the handful of classes I am proficient in in ranked matches. Hotjoin just doesn’t cut it.

Again..pvp players delete and remake characters really often in order to follow team’s needs and kitten metas so it would be even more dumb than skyhammer map (Nough said)…instead of playing sf try to play gw2 before asking for nonsense changes about an already kittened up pvp..

I worded that wrong. They should do it by profession for your account. Thanks for the attitude in response though.

It just adds complexity with not much gain.

Yes, I think MMR and Rank should not be account spread, but per class, on each account.

I mean, is there really a good reason, why my engi, with like 120 matches has the same MMR and Rank as my necro and guard who have over 1k matches each?
