why can’t they just separate the two things… they did with stealth, why not do it overall, they could separate balance between pvp and pve
yes that had be more trouble, but it would be easier to keep both parties happy

They may nerf burning, but they seriously need to buff Bleeding’s base a little bit…

Halved? Relax. A diminishing return on multiple burning stacks perhaps, or a nerf to burning duration things.
Other than that, bleeding could get a slight base damage buff.
Before they straight up nerf things, especially things that some specs/classes are heavily reliant on maybe they should make it so more classes/specs have more ready access to the resistance boon.
They should also make it so bosses have access to condition cleanses.
After that then they can adjust condition damage.

This is from a tpvp perspective, but I think burning is in a good spot. I don’t main guard (I main mesmer and warrior), but seeing condition guards is something completely new. That burning really hurts, especially on my zerker mesmer with 16k health, but I haven’t felt like I didn’t have a chance. I’ve been fighting a lot of condi guards and grenade engis and have been able to win against them thanks to the new trait changes.
I don’t want to see the meta force itself into a power only spec again, d/p thief did insane damage and that went untouched for a long time. It’s refreshing to see condition classes being able to compete with the zerkers we’re so used to playing with/against.
When I get confusion, torment, poison on all classes..then we can nerf burning…we can’t nerf burning when it’s the only damaging condition on 2 professions
I’d first like Devs to look at number of stacks and how easily they can reach ridiculous amounts with Burning +duration via fire fields, trails and other stuff.
Necromancer’s Dhuumfire applies same burning, but doesn’t stack high neither last long, 1 stack for 3s. And there’s no problem.
Maybe lower the amount of Burning stacks, but in exchange give some professions new conditions? Guardian could easily get Confusion, Ele could use more bleeding, Engineer maybe Poison?
