Hi all, henry back again. How we all doing?

I have had some trouble collecting data on the elementalist for various reasons. Anyway, i was wondering if people would answer my question:

How Op is ele?

A, Very overpowered
B, extremely overpowered
C, brokenly overpowered
D, overpowered
E, their healing and ports and invulns are ridic op and a complete joke

I will collate the findings after 2 days so we can get some action on ele.

Please let me know either here or in game if you would rather,

Want to know the difference. Helseth has posted his climb threw bronze on his condi mesmer.

Why can that carry? Mobility, sustain and damage. Ele no longer has any of that. For eles to be successful the team has to be good on focusing targets, not running from shouts and heals and knowing there roles.

When to 1 vs 1 or 1 vs 2 and knowing which team fights to support.

I dont understand why there are so many of these threads when it makes no sense. If anything im screaming that there no build diversity still in ele. Please find me that DPS ele any where.

If they’d just die instead of dragging out the fight, and burning all the cc’s in the world just to have a shot at doing the job, then maybe they wouldn’t get such a hard time.

Honestly, if ele would just work with you instead of against you, nobody would mind them one bit. They’d be best friends.

No, actually Ele is pretty difficult to play since the slightest breeze will interrupt overloads.

Ele is not OP at all. The only reason that it will be taken by all pro teams is that it is the only true support class which is something you need to be successful.

It can’t kill anything 1v1, it has bad mobility, it dies fairly easily when focused. Yes, it can survive 1v2 pretty well, but Druid does that MUCH better. It is a good class to take in ranked and can help in teamfights pretty well but it is not too strong when compared to other classes.

I find it hilarious that people say THE ONE THING ELE CAN DO is overpowered. You clearly are very ignorant of the game mechanics and ele mechanics if you don’t know how to kill one.

So the one thing an ele CAN DO is sustain itself and it’s team. Yet apparently they’re an easy kill…

man do you not get board of going class to class and so on saying their op. ha well what ever floats your boat i guess

The answers given for us to pick don’t paint an accurate picture of the class.

They are easily one of the strongest if not the strongest support class at the moment and in that regard they are overpowered as very few classes come close to what an ele does.

However ele has no other viable role, it can’t be a damage spiker as most classes do it better, not really a good brawler as many other classes can outsustain the ele and it has a low health pool, very easily spiked. Additionally you’ll find many classes that are brawlers have automatic defence traits which make sure they aren’t killed too easily, ele has a 3 hit block for that….wow.

I really dont know ppl want all nerfs on Temp/Ele. At 1st they said Celestial is op they romved and then they said Diamond skin is op they changed it to and then cleric rune got removed to. So now ele only beocme support chart there is no zerk ele. U can see lots of build about all other chart and professions but tempest only one Earth/water|Rune of soldier+Mender Amulet or 1 of other healin stat amulets and get all shout skills to give auras to teammates. All u have to do is keep CC on ele that it cant use any skills. Ppl want to kill Ele/tempest soo easily adn they dont want to temp not give reaction to them i quess.What should anet do ? remove Temp from PvP? Lets say they did, What is next? Druid? Ppl start sayin Celestial Avatar is OP it remove all condition when they enter etc…

Please dont think PvP is 1 vs1 game, Cordination and Co-operate is important, If u start talkin with ur teammates about team tactic or focusin to 1 target u will see there is no OP professions as much as u think..

Why we will have another ridiculous inconclusive op ele discussion without any use for devs that could matter for future balance updates ?

a.) autor hates ele because it’s ele
b.) he’s trolling
c.) ,,nerf class that I don’t play"
d.) he died to soft long deadly mender lighting whip
e.) bronze balance discussion
f.) he couldn’t kill ele on scrapper or druid.
