Is it possible to kill a good druid 1vs1?
Boon strip/corruption, high poison uptime, heavy cc, and well timed condition bombs. Well played Reaper should always win, unless going against LB druid who can actually kite.
Interrupt traits that cause confusion from warriors and thieves are also incredibly strong. Pulmonary Impact trait on thief is SOOO strong if a druid decides to camp staff and auto you, as the staff auto is the easiest skill to interrupt in the game and is often spammed.

Looks tough, might as well never 1vs1 them. Would a meta glass canon d/p thief be good enough? Slotting trickery and putting away condi cleanse on dodge though :/
Yeah Druid can in PvP due to limited fight area. There is NO WAY a good Druid would die in a 1v1 in WvW.

The one class I’ve actually had success with against a druid 1v1 is reaper! I play GS+S/W shout reaper with a lot of boon corruption. Since its a 1v1 I only really use S/W but I’m able to apply conditions faster than they can cleanse+ corrupt their boons with the scepter AA chain, “nothing can save you”, and reaper shroud 2. Plus I’m able to summons two minions with rise thanks to their pet, and apply pressure with high power damage in reaper shroud.
reaper can beat it and maybe scrapper has a chance as well.
I beat them regulary in WvW and PvP with my elementalist. The most dangerous thing to me is if he has a smokescale. If not it´s usualy won. If he disengages in WvW and is good i need FSG to catch.
stun lock and poisen during astral form. Relfects when they whip out long bow. Use invulns and stun breaks. And yah you Beat beat one but the pet is over tuned if you dont negate the pets dammage it could be GG.

This is it. the main reasons i win are reflects and stunbreaks.

Dont need to moa just cc chain when he goes into celestial form hammer5,3 slickshoes
You dont kill him with slickshoe and CC only. you have to prevent the whole heal with moa. Trust me I duelled the first and second best scrapper from EU serveral times to test builds

Druids have an issue with 1v1. In order to get kills on bruisers it must spec glassy. Then it can die 1v1. If it wants to survive it can tone back to a more conservative amulet and will never lose a 1v1, but will also have trouble resolving them too.
Your best bet is to run reaper (not wvw) or scrapper. If you are really really good you can also consider revenant. Reaper will get kills when the druid did not take condition clear (obv). Scrapper has the reflects and blocks to handle the druid at any range. Rev is just so high on damage that it can catch a druid off guard and get a kill.

There is NO WAY a good Druid would die in a 1v1 in WvW.
On the other hand, it can be a PitA to kill others as well. I roam in mostly berserker gear on my druid because otherwise I just wind up chasing people back to the safety of their towers.
Druid is pretty much the antithesis of doing damage. No other profession or elite spec represents pacifism better than a druid.
I’ve beaten them before as medi hammer/bow DH with palladin’s amulet, but as is almost always the case, the outcome of the 1vs1 also depends on individual player skill. If the druid is crap, probably anything can beat him. I imagine we’re assuming the druid in question is a pro?

Since there are only ~ 7 technically pro druids in the entire world, no, nothing will beat them 1v1.
