Okay, ty. Tbh I just wanted to know if our MMR is currently fixed or not but I’m guessing from your reply that it’s still changing.

Does it mean we all start mid december with new leaderboards or do you count the wins from now on and migrate the data into the leaderboards once you passed the beta?

Ranked arena is using whatever MMR you had before in team arena.

But it will change subject to our match outcomes, right?

so what is the difference between ranked and unranked arena if the leaderboard start the 16? Are we put on the same basket?

OK I just read the page referenced by the Dev. It states that rank IS part of the algorithm on an experimental basis.

I’m a coder but too tired to parse this in detail.

Subjective experience gives me the impression that very little is being considered in matchmaking at the moment.

If the rank is being used as the wiki states and all ranks have been reset it would tend to explain the unbalanced matches.

Perhaps “outliers” are being sent in too often in an attempt to cut down on queue times.

Devs: While I understand and appreciate that I lose little Glicko rating when steamrollered, it’s pretty cold comfort. I’d be happy to wait a little longer for a balanced match.

^this. How come dragon ranks with high MMR from team arenas are being put with PVE people who are not even rank 30.

Did you compensate for decay? I was rank ~500 in Team Arena just one week ago, but then I stopped playing because my team had issues and I fell to 98%. But my “real” rank shouldn’t have been 98%, right? As soon as I played a match, I should have been back at rank ~500.

Because I’ve won the last 5 matches of today 500-100 or 500-200. It was like I was really 98% and I was against new players. Even if I won 5 matches in a row they were not satisfying at all
