pvp was never alive man it cant die!
actually my closest friend left for good since a while and i quite envy him so he didnt had to see how terrible the game is developing, maybe he had a sixth sence for it to come

Why is everyone complaining about dueling. Anyone can “duel” tell whoever you want to duel to join a random hotjoin map towards the bottom of the list. Nobody else will join, you’ll have 1v1 for 20 minutes. If you want a 2v2, coordinate with the 4 people and have them join the same hotjoin map.
I really think some kind of ladder (and some rebalancing) is all pvp needs. Right now there’s no incentive whatsoever to play/win.
On a side note, I was in a tournament against 5 bunker guardians the other day….I don’t see how that’s possible to beat.
2v2, 3v3, 5v5 Rated Arena Deathmatch and nice-looking gear rewards available to craft from reaching a certain rating.
crafting is a good idea, but since you can only have two professions people will think one is favored over another. 2v2 might be pushing it. I can see the nerf bat winding up for the pitch if that came out because it would show how much one class could dominate another while the partner may do little to no work(like spamming crowd control skills). 3v3 and 5v5 one person can’t do that, which forces them to act like a team.
I was a hardcore GW fan and played a ranger and assassin in both PvP and PvE. After beating GW1 and hearing that GW2 was in the works I got away from it and went to WoW(because of friends). I left that because I heard GW2 had came out and was so excited. Everyone here who has played GW waited patiently for GW2 because I lost count how many times it got pushed back. I just hope that they find the “equilibrium” that they are searching for this game to surpass GW reputation.
I meant crafting PvP items using the Great Forge in the Heart of the Mists, which does not require a profession. Neither does crafting PvP items using the Great Forge in Lion’s Arch.
How come every pvp forum in every MMO has the most whiners?
Because it is very difficult to have an Esports mmo pvp. You must fill the needs of PvErs and (supermanmodehardcore) PvPers.. If you cannot achieve that, you will undoubtedly have displeased players

Do you think long queue are funniest than being stomp 3/4 of the round 1 by level 30+ team when you are 10+ ?

And when i read it’s too difficult to implement feature like elo regarding tournament feature choosed, i think sPvP is already dead and talking about e-sport a shame.

Only 100 players in EU able to make some point in Tn is a proof that sPvP is a great success.
