Guild Wars 2

I did a tournament with the guild for the first time yesterday, and while the first round was easy, we were soundly beaten in the second. I already know why (everyone in the guild has a high level of individual skill, but almost no experience working as a team, and no tournament experience at all), but I’d like to be able to put the loss in perspective. Were they just a random guild and we are that low on the tpvp totem pole? Or were they a good guild that we are just not ready to face yet. I tried looking up some of their names in the qualifier point list, and found one that is similar, but that’s account name vs. char name so hard to tell.

Is there any way to just look up the team that beat us? I don’t think there is, but I’d like to be able to see where we stand now and in the future to judge how good we are and how we are progressing as we play more.

^Play more and you’ll get to know the teams/players. This only viable atm ‘cus the community is rather small. In the end we’ll get our leaderboards and such (I hope).

But by playing them you should feel if you were outplayed or it was rather ‘your own’ fault. I sometimes lose and feel that we just played wrong or things didn’t go as planned. Other times I lose and it’s just because the other team was stronger.

But ye, would be cool if every team could see where it’s standing skill-wise. Even QP’s don’t really show that.

It tells you at the beginning of the match which team you are facing. You can also tell by looking at their guild tags. I agree that it should be more obvious though. They should have this information on the scoring table.

Ye, you see the team but you don’t know if they’re actually good. I’ve seen many guildteams and we won against them in solo-queue.
