So this one guy, we were having an argument about which class is more OP and it got pretty intense in LA map chat so we decided to do something about it. A challenge with a bet. He logged on his warrior while I logged my staff ele and we went to battle. 20 gold was on the line and a mystic forge conduit, So before it begins I get a whisper from one of his guildies and he told me that he was gonna fraps it, I’m like okay, right-click duel and we’re fighting already. I’m not gonna lie and say it was hard because it ended pretty easily, I pretty much one shot him with my supreme burst and finished him off with some quick-hit autoattacks. He started crying and moaning about how OP staff ele was so I had to explain him my pro strat so he could shut up but no he would still complain just about anything at all.

Fast forward to 2 mins ago, the warrior and his guildie vanished and I’m left here writing this rage post.

The warriors name was Aprflz and his guildie Cptobviouss

The public shame of losing to a staff ele in a 1 on 1 should be enough.

This is a most perplexing post. I have never seen someone ever say that considers themselves any sort of sPvP player that a warrior is in a good state that plays it, nor would I say anyone (other than magikarp) that damage staff ele is a good choice. I am not sure how to take this entire encounter as the only logical thing in my mind is that it never happened in the first place. Also right click-duel was the best addition ever.

I nearly logged in to see if dueling somehow secretly made it into the game. It’s kind of amazing how excited I got over thinking DUELING was implemented… I wonder what I’d do if I found out about new game modes, maps, working rating ladder, rating rewards, booming player base, class balance…

Of all the things that happened today, this happened the most.

Well played. Although I knew it was a joke when I got to the 20g part.

Normally I’m all for acting superior and elitist because I pvp kindof ok, but if these leftovers who couldn’t identify an amateur April fool’s joke which literally spelled it out for them then I don’t think I want to play here anymore.
