So you focus target a distant target so guards and revs can use movement skills that require a target to move faster towards the threatened objective. It clearly seems unintended to me.

I think it is not intended, for the simple fact that it actually does not work while in action cam, the skill will tell you out of range when using that mode.

Will it ever be changed/fixed? Maybe in 2-3 years..
