I see a lot of people upset with this patch that thought this was supposed to be a PvP patch. I’m at work right now so I can’t backtrack every post by ANet but I’m 99% sure they said to look to February for the pvp patch. I mean, correct me if I’m wrong, and if I’m wrong then I’m a bit upset too.

There is supposed to be serveral incremental pvp patchs. The first one we have been told to expect sometime in febuary.

Honestly whether it was slated for February or not, with this patch I now clearly see how little they care for pvp. That now means this isn’t my main game anymore, and probably won’t play until that patch.

No, I don’t believe ANet ever mentioned anything about this being a PvP balance patch. They may have mentioned the PvP features involved in the patch, but I never saw anything else.

Yes, some people just want a reason to pick up their pitchfork, even if it’s completely unsubstantiated.

No, I’m not fanboying for ANet, as I personally disagree with several design decisions they’ve made and don’t really play anymore. I check the forums to see how the game is developing just in case they move in a direction I would enjoy, and often, the community here puts me in the red. It’s like watching a bunch of spoiled kids misbehave at the restaurant while I’m just trying to eat my eggs and sausage in peace.

Yeah as far as I was aware it was meant to be balance patch February, still woulda be nice for toning to be added to this one though.

Bug fixes are always nice. ^^

people are upset about the “single match paid” system they implemented that is basically a ticket sink with no match making.
