when you have a bad game and someone in your team rage quits and then another swears and insults the rest of the team.
Sometimes you just get a bad pre-made in un-ranked with people trying out different builds.
Anet says there is a punishment in place for rage quitting a game but what about players who spoil the experience for other gamers by swearing and insulting them?

Report people that breaks the ToS.

I do. But seeing how the report function does not let you screen shot your screen like a bug report do we actually even know if anything is being done?

Block and report is really the only thing that you can do.

However, I just ignore and laugh at those raging and whining. I play to have fun. Someitmes I get a good match, and even though we lose, it was still fun. Other times I get a bad match where we are rofl stomped. But I don’t whine about it. Had someone whining the other day in unranked. It was a fairly close match, but they told us to go to ranked, because we were a “pre-made” team. :P

Basically, don’t let downers get you down. People that whine and rage about stuff is usually indicitive of something else in their lives that they are unhappy about, and they take it out on whoever, for whatever. I for one don’t want to be influenced by unhappy miserable people. But thats just me…..

How would a screenshot effect you knowing if something is being done or not?

The report tool have logs, they can read exactly what is written and by who.

But yes, something is being done. If people have broken the ToS they will get suspended.

The worst part of PvP is exemplified by the last Ranked match I was in. Right after the jump two on my “team”, I was solo Q’ing, left the match and stuck us with a 3v5. I kept trying hard so we can at least get the score to maybe 200 or 300 points. We already had over 100 and was hopeful we could do it. Next thing I know the remaining two on my team are just standing in spawn waiting for the match to end. I asked in map chat if anyone in the match isn’t playing for the leaderboard. They all said they weren’t! Some didn’t even know Ranked matches count for points on the leaderboard. Oy vey……

There’s nothing more annoying than getting stuck with a -3 and being completely helpless to do anything about it. That’s the past couple of hours erased in 5 minutes. THAT makes me not want to play.

The moment each team has 3-4 Engineers, and you realize it’s Engineer Daily Day!

Yeah I dont think youre going to fix that problem other than a severe penalty for abandoning a match and that will be a severe penalty for the few people who did not really mean to do so. (IE internet problems.)

Ive had it happen to me where my internet went completely out for 15 minutes. Sorry to whatever team I was on.

Also I dont think youre going to get rid of people losing and then blaming their entire team over it nor arguing during matches.

I mean literally on Spirit Watch I ran the backline and got my team a huge lead, only to see it go away because people started arguing about some guy on the team pinging the map.

Of which statements in map chat were “O.K. im going a different place now. Keep Pinging.”

Thus finding your own premade team is the only solution to this crap that I can see.

Of which I am a thief looking for a casual team, nothing incredibly serious, but a decent team that wants to have some fun playing PvP.
