Unfortunate but really not surprising. Anet just doesn’t care about the pvp in this game. Making pvp good enough to bring in money is hard and risky, making mediocre pve is easy and a guaranteed revenue stream for years to come. They’ll throw pvpers a bone here and there to keep up the facade, but it will never get anywhere close to the attention pve does.

yep, this event is clearly showing that they dont care about pvp at all.

I’ll keep playing just more casually. I’ve always been casual ’cus of RL stuff and such. But I always feel supportive on Gw pvp. Until this moment lol :p.

Anyway, WvW will be fun :p. Even unique finishers for WvW…. GJ

I don’t even understand why they would waste time and money on this esport event if they don’t even care about the pvp…..

So much of Anet defies logic it’s just……. insane.

What’s sad is, if they see only 5k people watch, they’ll think “oh this isn’t big we’re gonna ditch it completely”

Instead of “Oh only 5k people watching and people say the pvp is bad, maybe we should actually try to improve it and listen to what the players want.”

I missed the tournament, what did the devs do wrong now?

He basically said, “uhm… I dont really know much about pvp…”

Everyone, including me, had to look for their jaws on the ground after that comment. It was like a punch to the face to everyone watching the stream, which we all know were watching because of the PVP tourney going on. Yet they brought no pvp devs, and they come out with a garbage comment about their own game!
