This really isnt relevent to 99% of the player base.

But when solo queue was around with mmr leaderboards it meant every game had 10 elite players in it, or close to that.

I have heard reports that now it just matches in the basis of division. So those 100 guys who are the best in the game will not only play each other anymore, but instead be forced into matches with legends who are just bad.

Is there any solution to this or is ranked play just dead in terms of a way to play vs properly good people? If so then you will never get a good esports scene as there is nowhere for newer players to practice and even to prove themselves

The top 100 will play each other again in season 2 when they meet up in legendary.

Its only too easy because you could smurf your way up to legend. Despite the issues of the new system this won’t be able to be done in S2.
