As the title sais… why is there no jp in heart of the mists??? would be so nice just to chilll at a jp instead of tabbing out every time… anyone else agree? also a crafting station to give the pvpers a chance to make some gold too? xD tell me what u guys think :P

Plenty of places to jump around. I like jumping on the pillars for bank and tp. Or join the stellar /map chat.

Use WvW or LA for crafting.

Btw…crafting is more about using gold.

Not to put a spoiler, but there is a certain room in Tarir that has a jumping puzzle in it. You can only access this area after completing chapter 9 or so of the Heart of Thorns story.

guys im talking about the pvp area while u que for ranked arenas nothing to do with wvw or LA :P i never even leave the pvp area only to level up my characters with the tome of knowledge xD

Just how often though can someone do a jumping puzzle?

Maybe something else, such the training NPCs and golems randomly become champions, leave their areas and start killing people or if Necro minions summoned in the PvP lobby become hostile to everyone.

That should liven things up.

They should make a mega JP in HotM that takes hours to complete, with a daily timer for incremental rewards that only gives another bag of gear named something random like “Satchel of the Mists”

oh, and release the next part of the JP weekly, but kinda low key in the gemstore.
If you finish wings of the JP, you should have access to some skins that are sold from a vendor that costs tokens called “Mist Shards” that can be obtained from the JP attempts.

The people who get to the top of the JP on a monthly basis should also be put on the season guild leaderboards, where mesmers and their access to portal truly shine

we will see a true mesmer meta by the end of the year.. just you wait!

Guys? I knew exactly what you meant. But why does it need that if LA is a free portal away and WvW is a click away? Pvpers don’t even need to craft gear so if you need gold either tp loot you get or salvage and tp materials.

There is a JP if you look hard enough.

Hint, it ends right over the blue lord testing area. Be careful not to get stuck.

I don’t care about no gorram jumping puzzle. I want to play hotjoin while waiting for the gorram queue pop, like I could for the first 2 years after release for fracks sake.

Took me a while to understand that.

A jumping puzzle is a weak solution and temporary (dare I call it) fix for a much larger problem. After people complete the puzzle it will just be another piece of stale repeatable content that does nothing to alleviate boredom while being locked in the mists during queues.

I can’t tell if you didn’t understand OP’s post, or if you’re new to the game, or if you don’t play PvP. It’s like you think OP just likes to visit Heart of the Mists for no reason and is complaining that there isn’t anything to do. The reason that players even go to Heart of the Mists and the issue that compelled the OP to even make this thread is that players are forced to queue matches in Heart of the Mists and leaving the mists breaks their queues. The fact that “WvW or LA” facilitate crafting offers nothing because you can’t leave the mists while in queue.

I made over 200 gold per day for several days last month crafting and selling Mystic Forge weapons. Spirit Shards convert very nicely into gold if you know what you’re doing.
