Why? Don’t waste your gold. Season ends In about 2 weeks. If you can’t get ruby on your own, I hate to break it to you, but you won’t get the backpack. I don’t like to be that person, but there isn’t a nice way to put that

Plain wrong!
You will be able to get it by other means even after this year is over even without ruby this has been confirmed by dev’s

this is the reason you have bad people in ruby or higher. somebody can allways pay somebody else to carry them.
You know that is not the reason, Oxidia. I don’t know many people who pvp. I cannot get on a team that works together on a regular basis. One guy got me 1 tier, but even he cannot overcome the perpetually bad teams I am always put on. You want to prove me wrong? Team up with me and I will show you how bad it is.
Props to the guy who helped me. You know who you are. I will try this again. He made 3gold per pip and I am not ashamed. He gave me good advice. Was a very good player. But even having him on the team was not enough to win every match.
I wonder if it will be like the Winter’s day wings. They cost about 700g and were in the gem store 2 months later for 500 gems. That would be funny.

Yep, I had a guy tell me today he plays on his friends accounts to get the backpiece to get them to legendary.
You want to pay to get into ruby yet you say you’re not a bad player. Curious.
Lost over 50 matches in tier 4 saphire, just got to tier 5 yesterday.

If you wanted it that bad I woulda helped you for free. I didn’t sse this thread till it was too late but will add you, and we can go from there if you like.
Just to let you know, you are not alone. I’m stuck at tier 3 sapphire too. I win some, lose more. I play with my friend, it’s he and I together queuing and we “get what we get” for a team.
I think premade is the way to go, though you will probably get queued up with other premade teams. But, for me, at least if our team is together in TS, we can communicate what we need to do.
Will I ever get to lock down tier 4 and tier 5 of sapphire and get to ruby? Well, not at this rate. Is it because I’m bad pvp’r? Well, not really. Am I a legendary pvp’r stuck in sapphire because of bad match making? Doubt it. I don’t think I have the pvp ability to get past ruby, though right now, I can’t get to ruby. The teams I get put in with are usually not coordinating well with us.
I know I am not the best in pvp, but I am not a bad player either……. I am willing to pay a team to just get me through the next 3 tiers to finish sapphire. I only have a bit over 42 gold in game, but if someone or some team gets me through this to ruby I will give everything I have to them.
I can’t understand why people do this? It reminds me of those cases where people pay for someone to take their term papers for them.
You’re either good enough to get to next division or you’re not. I know the MMR match making issue, i have friends who have been through it. But why not make some pvp friends and duo/trio queue to avoid some of those “bad” team mates?
I don’t pvp much this season (only a few matches here and there) but i almost always start of in SoloQ. I then ask a SoloQ team mate or heck even an enemy player Solo Queuer (if i lose) if they want to team up. I usualy ask the person who i felt was playing reasonably well. They almost always say yes. Now i have a duo q team. I do it again on next match and now we’re a Trio Q. You may be surprised at how beneficial that is to your game enjoyment and winning chances.

If you’re stuck in Sapphire it’s probably where you belong currently. I came back to this game about a week ago and I was in T2 Sapphire when I had stopped playing early in the second week of Leagues. I made it all the way to T5 Ruby with only 2 losses in one night because I could just dominate every match. But don’t let that get you down, Sapphire and Ruby are where average players end up. I also found that when you stop caring about where you are and just play to have fun you will climb faster than when you are stressing over pips. I was stuck in that hell of getting to 1 pip from Diamond and then going on a losing streak. I just said kitten it and logged onto my thief. 6 matches later I was in Diamond with only 1 loss during the first match.
For all of you stuck in Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, wherever just take Elsa’s advice and “let it go” and you will have a much more enjoyable time. Bruce Lee said that in an engagement do not worry over winning and losing, just focus on the moment and what you need to do.
Not everyone is meant to be Legendary. I know I’m not. I made it to Diamond and now I just don’t give a kitten because I know I won’t make it to Legendary by the end of the Season and I am ok with that.

If “you cant progress because that’s where you belong” argument is rubbish because if that was true I would eventually reach a level where I can have decent matches, not 500-33 and such
This is seriously the most posted about division tier.
I, myself noticed SappT3-4 is where the progression/learning curve suddenly becomes a lot steeper for mid range MMR players.
It is the part of the progression curve where each player has to lift their game in terms of overall map awareness. Teams that have the majority of players who can do this will move forward, however if you find yourself on a losing streak, the MMr tumble you take in this division/tier will really punish you with what future players it pairs you with.
My advice, duo/trio que tier 3-4 and try to keep your wins above your losses, otherwise your MMR is going to tumble and you’ll find yourself often being paired with final tier emeralds rather than division 1 rubies.
I suspect this area is where the progression curve goes from a gentle incline into a much sharper transition and steeper incline. It seems to be the soft ceiling where average/good players will begin to struggle and where average/good players with strong map awareness and communication skills will progress.
The player helseth post a video ages ago about what it is to carry through smarter rotations and decisions. Even one person using more advanced thinking in a team can make an impact difference by being where they will give the most benefit slightly before they are actually needed.
It means preferred builds you may like running and are comfortable with now need to give way to builds that allow to be where your needed when your needed, or even better..slightly before your needed.

There is a post I made about this and I agree that if you are getting annihilated each match then you are past where you should be and that is a problem I think needs addressing for season 3.
I would agree again, if all those were losses, but in one game my team gets annihilated, and in the next one mine destroys the other one….
I know I am not the best in pvp, but I am not a bad player either. I have now just lost 11 in a row. Twice I was 1 win away from finishing my 3rd tier in sapphire. I am willing to pay a team to just get me through the next 3 tiers to finish sapphire. I only have a bit over 42 gold in game, but if someone or some team gets me through this to ruby I will give everything I have to them.
I am continually on the bottom rung of players, my mmr must be awful. But I am desperate just to get out of sapphire. I was hoping just to get to ruby and be content, but the way matchmaking is going I will fail at that.
I am not looking for trolls to tell me how bad I am, get good, or anything derogatory. I just want to finish sapphire and be content I made it that far. So if anyone or any team wants my life savings in game of 42 gold +, look me up and help me out.
