Guild Wars 2

Okay so, earlier today I did a ranked game, funnily enough we had 1 person who didnt even bother trying to join the pvp match, so it was 4v5 the whole game. As you would expect, we lost badly however even though that 1 person (who happened to be amber rank) didnt even get into the map was in our team it still resulted in everyone losing 2 pips? Is there a reason for this

A dc is considered as a forfeit which is severly punished by the system for god saken kiten reason.

Usually it should only happen when you group up, but apparently not.

That sucks, my hard earned pips just gone to waste ;-; just cause someone decided they didnt want to play at the last min
