Please. It is already useless unless your team just wrecks face and lets you snowball.

Dps guard owns it (greatsword dps guard) so hard. Shout warrior laughs at it. Every team fight there is like 2/3 of these who just make all condis not work.

Staff ele owns it. Again it has Aoe cleanse = gg. Cant hold a point. It is slow as kitten.

I have played necro for 2 years and its never been worse. EVER. Start with no LF too? gg thanks for that “fix”.

Then a new boon:

Resistance (Boon)
“Conditions currently on you have no effect; stacks duration.”
Currently, we have skills that provide a similar effect, such as the warrior’s Berserker Stance (condition immunity with no counterplay). When placed on a character, this boon will temporarily relieve them of all the negative effects that conditions have on the character. For example, if a character is running in fear with the fear condition, they’ll stop running in fear when resistance is placed on them. When resistance ends, they’ll resume running in fear. Having this type of effect on a boon makes it so the boon can be removed by other players, adding in more counterplay.
Slow (Condition)

If true you have to rebalance necro from top to bottom seen as you MADE IT A CONDI CLASS and then flood the game with OP condi cleanse.

I suggest buff the base damage on all scepter skills by 100%. Reduce the casts and cooldowns and buff the damage on staff marks. Also the heal is a joke. No heal should have a 1.25s cast when you give classes like thief spammable, ranged, no cast time interrupts. I suggest making the heal either passive (like warrior/ele) or just 1/2s cast or something. You need to buff the power damage of all necro skills if you add this new boon. All of them.

Necro is so kittening bad.

Also with the ESL weekly cup last thursday, the EU finals had a necro on both teams (these teams had beat TCG and oRNG that week).

Resistance could actually be beneficial to the class. The way they worded it makes me think Berserker Stance is being changed to use the boon too. If they’re going to change Berserker STance to use a boon, perhaps they’ll also change Endure Pain/Signet of Stone to use a boon.

This means the Necro can destroy these boons and condis will be in full effect. I wonder what resistance will turn into…

I generally run necro in PvP, and don’t really have much of a problem with it. While on point necros can be pretty good. Lots of AoE from staff/scepter/dagger and wells. Lich form is awesome for on point fights, DS with the fear is great for pushing people off point.

Of course I run straight condis and don’t have many issues. Of course I can still get outplayed, but in general necros do provide some great pressure at the very least. There are some weakness with necros, but I don’t feel they are enough to make them horrible and useless.
