I’d like to be on a win streak. I get stacked game after stacked game.. I have no trouble whatever finding a loss streak. 35 games and 16 wins for a 45.7% win rate. I’m seeing players from the middle of the next division up in my matches.

I’d like to know if ANET has returned to the s2-s3 game stacking.

Why cannot you win? You’re playing for quite some time as far as I can see, probably improved a lot after all that forum whin… err, posting and whatnot.

If you want to be on winstreak – maybe try to play better then and win? Doubt it is hard on that level Maybe duoq with someone will help you also if you want it that badly.

It depends on when you’re playing. Late at night/middle of the day = smaller pool of players, so it’ll have to drag people from other divisions into your matches, and then you might be unlucky and be the lowest rated player in the match. It happens… but if it’s a recurring thing during active hours, you need to find out what you’re doing wrong. 1 person can change a whole match, I didn’t believe it at first, but it’s so true. You need to be focused all the time, and if you’re struggling with your class, watch a good streamer who plays your class. I just watch Sin on repeat to match his play-style and it’s helped so much for me during the off-season. :P

Record your match, criticize yourself, get other people to spot mistakes. You are your own worst enemy. (use OBS or Shadowplay for recording)

It’s hard to spot your own mistakes while playing, as you get tunnel vision. Analyzing your playback can help with those issues.

Matchmaking will always be kitten, you can only try to make up for that gap. (probably even worse with the smaller player pool this season)

you still playing core mesmer PU?

if so, i would suggest sage chrono, it’s much much better. sure meta seems boring, but sage is going to be significantly easy to carry on. i’m not saying u gotta play meta, heck i’ve played this whole season on gunflame warrior, but if you find yourself losing a lot & want that to change, not playing condi PU is a good idea.

secondly recording games and looking for mistakes is good (i do this myself, just with geforce) but if you don’t know what to look for, sharing the videos with the mesmer forum could be a good idea. im sure some of helseth’s videos would be helpful to watch too.

Isn’t it working as intended if you are near 50% winrate?

I’m seeing the absolute dregs of pvp players this season. It’s truly amazing the people who join ranked matches.

she been saying this since season 1 season 5 and season 6 MM being the same is worst then any season for me but i still see winning streak. a lot of players who believe in MMR hell still struggles today i wonder why? the legendary players from season 1 to 4 are either in legendary or plat. while s1 to s4 diamond players are in gold. what does really tell you? if your decent enough players and improve as you play. your not really gonna drop down below your division skill level.

I still don’t believe in it and I’ve had some terrible matches.

I still haven’t found my win streak, but I’m at exactly 50% with 21 for 42 ranked matches, on core PU Mesmer.

It’s kinda back to the bad old days. A DD thief will kill me nearly instantly. So will a well played Chronomancer or Reaper. I don’t lose all of those though.

DH, War and Ele all have to make serious mistakes to lose to this build. I +1 or hit and run and decap.

Still, I feel a bit more like I’m playing a Mesmer and that’s good. If ANET would tone down the elite specs some.. I could see core specs playing successfully.

I’m actually dissapointed that they didn’t do more with this balance patch. I mean, clearly the core specs are still not on the level of elite specs, and this balance patch would of been a good opportunity to address that a bit more. Not sure why they didn’t. At least they buffed my Flamethrower Engineer a bit though.
