To get to rank 80, how many times would you have to rank up to 10? Example, if you have unlimited guild wars accounts, how many accounts would you have to get to rank 10, that would require the same ammount of glory to get to rank 80?

This is false. The total amount of glory to get to rank 10 is 10500 instead of 14500. 14500 is rank 11. The chart in the wiki counts how much it takes to get to the next level for every rank listed. So if you’re like me and are rank 69 (loool no life) it takes 450k to get to rank 70 which then progresses to being 450k per level until I hit 79.

Yes. It takes a long time. It gets substantially harder the higher that you get. Once you reach rank 30 it will take you the same amount of rank points you previously got going from 1-30 as it will take you going from 30-39. This system makes it so the higher tiers become exponentially harder to attain and creates (as you can imagine) a bottleneck where no progress exists. For most hardcore players this exists around rank 50-60.

Simply put there is simply not enough time in the day to rank up enough to have hit 80 by now. I highly doubt anyone could have legitimately hit that high without having botted or exploited. To date I know of one legitimate tourney person to hit 70 and that’s Karmy.

To attempt to put this in perspective Karmy and I have already hit 60 twice over. The amount of rank it takes to hit 60 is the same as 60-69 basically. To reach 80 we would both need to more than double our current rank points, almost triple!

So yes, the rank system sucks for most players. No progress, no fun!

I’m close to 70, and most of my rank is from tourneys. It takes a long time yes.
