Just started playing sPvP...
yeah its very bad at the begining to deal with mesmers/thief but after a while u can predict their stuff… other than that there is nothing much i can tell you, just do hotjoin till you get the hang of your character and then go to tournies ( wich are lame ) to get more into the game.
and necros well … some ppl say that they are broken some ppl say that they are not so u just have to deal with em.
oh and i forgot to say this game targeting is really really bad but u will get used to it if u keep playing.

I hope you’re right and experience will make it better for me, cause I’m really upset with sPvP atm. Thanks for responding. :>
I would also highly suggest looking on the internet for a good PvP build. Most of them have been theory crafted and tested by players.
Sometimes it isn’t a bad idea to ask other people for their builds also. If you run into another warrior and you like his play style, you could politely ask for his build or just go into spectator mode and get it from him. Watch how he plays, you might learn something!
After that, just try to get to know each profession and its unique mechanics. Eventually you’ll learn how to play against each of them more successfully.
Hope this helps! You can contact me in game if you’d like some 1 on 1 help. I’m always happy to help the PvP community grow.
There is a way to fix your problems my friend, its a little exploit I like to call: “War G”
Click your 80 Warrior, click ‘delete’, then click ‘create’ and click the shield picture, it should be called “Guardian”, then click ‘create’, using this exploit you can immediately fix all your problems your having with warrior.

Crit chance and Crit Damage (without zerker gear) – pull it off, and you win, sometimes.

Warrior is considered the weakest class in spvp. Necro is one of the best since the last patch. They are like walking thermonuclear devices. You should make a new character of a profession that is considered strongest and get the build that is considered the strongest, and then you will have more fun. I don’t know if you’re aware, but you can start a new character and jump into Mists as level 2, and you will be bumped up to 80 without any problems. I don’t play this game any more because it’s terrible, but you may want to ask around for a good spec and try spvp that way.

He is wrong. Experience matters jack kitten in this game, its all about right class, class with most trolling and forgiving after you mess up gives you edge over any other classes. You said you played your warrior, well try thief next time, it will be easier and if you mess up game forgives you and lets you disengage and live so you can come back and finish off whoever you started to kill. Why do you think there are so many thieves in this game? Everyone wants to have it easy while kitten ing around.
In time I can tell you this that you will get frustraited and quit sPvP, like myself and friends I had who started Gw2. I am only one left to play this game and I dont even touch sPvP ever again.
