2. Generally Evaluate people’s real SoloQ rank by how long he have stayed in certain range of ranks (ex: top1~50 or top 50~100)

3. Exclude all people having less than 100 matchs.

4. Always Evaluate firstly and Give additional Score to guy who plays lot.

absolutely it means something… for example, when they have same 100 matchs, which is enough that both luck and bad luck can happen to any1 equally, they shows different performance as listed above. In this case i replaced that 100 matchs with total matchs in a month though. Also, as you know soloq ranks fluctuate a lot, so i rather used rank range bracket to estimate how long they have been staying in which range of ranks, and it shows their general performance: staying in higher range of rank bracket means that his performance is actually better.

For me, TeamQ is rather TROLL than soloQ becuz you can solo submit like soloq on teamq and mostly you win if you have decent teammates gg and the worst problem of teamQ I think is that people in team pvp only, mostly play with themselves whose ranks are similar, so making a lot of MONOPOLY in Team Arena Ranking System. (IT IS REAL EVIDENCE THAT YOU SEE TEAM ARENA TOP PLAYER’S LB RANKS ARE ALMOST FIXED FOR MANY MONTHS.) but when it comes to soloQ, every1 get equally random people, and same amount of luck and bad luck to every1 as their total number of queuing increases. Everything is equalized in soloQ, therefore, NO MONOPOLY happens in soloQ, but, people may rotate certain range of rank bracket. That is why I love soloq much more. I rarely play teamQ though, just to test build.

Anyways, original purpose of making both soloQ and teamQ must not be distorted. SoloQ must exist to determine the performance of Solo when it comes to all random (yes it only has meaning when everything comes to random to determine solo performance to avoid any premade), meanwhile, TeamQ must exist to determine the whole performance of one team, not solo member in team, by pre-made teams fighting each other. Determining Solo performance based on TeamQ performance should not make sense. And that is also why i told backpack to changes his tiles to “NA Top 25 of Team Arena”

I don’t think I am wrong since backpack seems like just putting all his friendly people into his top25 list and just evaluate them by his general experience based upon plays with them (or might be just team arena LB only) but almost no use of real evidence or real records remained in leaderboard like what I did. What I blamed is that he use no LB records of their soloq but just say top25 overall though. If you can check my post above explaining this with 3 evidences, I think it would convince you.

Did you check and read carefully that I used Range Bracket of SoloQ Rank for a long term to evaluate??
I do NOT EVALUATE PEOPLE AT specific soloQ rank at the moment like you said.

If if you want to test build go hotjoin or you can solo submit on teamQ as well if you don’t care teamQ rank. plz Do not ruin soloQ. To make objection to you, if some classes are hard to get good rank in soloq, that is anet’s fault not my fault. but persoanlly I saw many different class were able to keep their good rank in soloQ for a long time therefore what you are talking about is not really a matter i think. it more likely depends on their skill, not class.

And lastly we don;t even need to take care of communication stuff skill thru voice chat in soloQ, but rather, it is better for you to increase your personal skill to check Ally’s HP bar all the times so you can be prepared to rez him, meaning that increase your solo skill. lol what you are talking about communication skill via mic isn;t required in soloQ. impossible yeah, but so what? i don’t even know why you even talk about this but, rather than increase your communication skill, you can increase your soloq skill of looking ally’s hp many times and be prepared to rez.

I once had an ok soloQ rank for a week or so. I was in the 300s and happy about it as I am not a very good mechanical player due to what Lyme Disease has done to my reaction time and my hands always hurting and shaking. Anyway my rating now is god awful. I went from a 50%+ win-rate to around 46-47% and this isn’t because I all of the sudden became a bad player overnight. Its because I decided I want champion titles on all 8 professions. I have 3 now. Engi, Guardian and warrior and I am halfway on necro and Mesmer. I SUCK at some professions…

Anyway I only put this anecdote here because I am sure other players also do this

Why do people even care about queue ranks, solo or team? Why not just look at tournament matches to see how well players perform?

You can game both leader boards and people do.

For solo it’s Orb running builds on spirit watch, cc builds on skyhammer, far point tanks to draw 1v2s a whole match.

For team queue, it’s much harder to game, but you can queue during certain hours and go on long win streaks. You can also stop queueing when you know strong teams are playing that you aren’t set up to beat.

Then there’s the fact that people throw in both queues, by playing builds they want to experiment with, or in team queue by Yolo or duoing, or by playing with friends that just aren’t good at pvp.

Tl;Dr the boards will give you an idea of who’s towards the top tier, but when you’re talking about the top 30-40 conquest players it’s a wash if you’re just looking at the boards (as it’s not a good representation of what actually happens in tournaments) . Tournament matches provide better info on top players than the boards.

i could use the data from gw2score and make like “gw2score leaderboards” based on something like this. Sounds interesting, I might look into it somewhere next week ^^

Yeah. you may do make your own leaderboard like this by analyzing people the way you want to implement haha. Currently anet do NOT fix soloQ LB to be more precisely but you may make more precise one based on the activities how all top1000 did for a specific term (like 1 month or something)

lol solo queue

I can say for sure that there are a lot of top players that don’t really take Solo Q seriously. The reason is because it’s hard for some people to take it seriously while also keeping their sanity. If I took every game of Solo Q seriously, the 4v5s, lolskyham and random crazy things other players do would drive me nuts. So instead, I relax about it and just play whatever build I feel like playing in it. Sometimes they’re good builds, sometimes they’re just things I’m trying out, and sometimes they are the worst yolo builds you’ve ever seen. A lot of other good players I know do the same, so you really can’t judge anything by someone’s Solo Q record, not to mention the crazy RNG team assignments. Lastly, some strategies that are cheesy work really well in Solo Q that don’t take a ton of skill, like being super tanky and pushing far, or running glassy AoE builds like power necro and glass staff ele. Some players run these strategies in Solo Q because it works well there, but it’s not very indicative of actual player skill and does not really work at all in serious Team Q games.

My frands you guys are taking things way too seriously! First Guild Warts 2 is a video game! Nothing should be taken seriously! It’s for fun! Vee Wee runs 5 elixir Engi or gadget Engi! Vee Wee doesn’t care about leaderboards! They don’t matter! Solo Q has Skyhammer! That’s plenty reason to not place any faith in that mode! Team Q leaderboards are so inflated it’s thilly! It’s literally the best players in the game tryhard teamspeak stomping rabbit ranks on a daily basis! It’s not their fault though! The community is so tiny that there is little to no competition!

If you want to be known as da bestest Guild Warts 2 players, do well in the tournaments! Even if your team loses, people will notice good individual play! That is all! Taking information from the loleaderboards is just thilly!

lol yeah. I just watched ToG Qualifier stream and yeah, Shark team that has legedarygorn ranked at #1 in my list above won the matchs and will be going to finals. let’s see how he would do very well as well as there.
