PvE is hp sponge trash mobs, defiant and zergs, man. It’s no better than PvP.
The best pvp ‘gear’ you get in wildstar is from 40vs40 matches.

Does it make: your skills not work? being stuck? have random dc’s? unbalanced matchups?

I havnt played the beta yet, but it says it had arenas and other modes too. Honestly I really enjoy the conquest mode in GW2 and the 5v5 format; Its the fighting itself that is no longer enjoyable.
PvE aint that stellar either m8, people solo the hardest dungeon in the game and kill the hardest boss in the game in 7 seconds.

In wildstar you’ll be able to get best gear in 2v2/3v3/5v5 arena too. Arenas= Warplots, which are slightly better than BG gear, but for pretty obvious reasons I’d thing. So not sure what the gear argument for Wildstar was all about…

I really liked this game when it came out… gonna do some WvW before wildstar comes out I guess. You made some really bad choices with your PvP anet, but I know you had good intentions. Your pve is good, I guess you cant be good at everything.
Honestly if you didn’t appreciate what they did to gw2 DO NOT GO FOR Wild Star !!!
Both games belongs to NC Soft.
And I beleive some NC Soft guys are really happy to have old gw2 players upset going to buy their new game.
PvE is pretty good actually. It really isn’t a problem. The issues are:
WvW has gotten changes, but they are not what the community wants.
PvP is forgotten and the last two maps delivered have been very poor.
Balance is the biggest fail in this game. I’ve explained why in the past, but the issue is that ANET has a really bad methodology there.
Why do you care if its NCSoft? Lol Anet kittened up GW2 not NC… Corbine =\= Anet. Where do you guys get these things. O.o

NCsoft decides development… the main focus is and will always be these mindless LS Story nonsense + gem store additions
This game thrives off casuals…a lot of casuals don’t care for spvp…
Anet HAS to cater to casuals first and it will always be like that.
Yea anet can’t balance worth a dam but its mainly cause of the fact they don’t have much support… NCsoft could care less if the pvp remains unbalanced, spvp brings them 0 gem store saleslol, why bother trying to waste resources fixing it?
With WildStar, I think theres gonna be a sub fee so its defintely going to be better simple because of the fact they will have more resources to work with… where as GW2, Anet’s hand is forced with gemstore sales and catering to casuals (Living story junk)

Well yeah. I wouldn’t touch a F2P/B2P NCSoft game in exchange for this one… I know they’re greedy but luckily its a sub game and won’t have a cash shop as they say, so I’m not too worried about that.

So I criticize ANET as much as anyone, but this comment is just crazy. From a cost perspective, you can’t beat gw2. You can buy the game and then never give ANET another cent. It’s a good deal.

i am aware that its NCsoft, and hope that all the resources that are lacking in GW2 have gone to Wildstar. Maybe thats why we are getting so little. Well see when its released. Im hoping for all of the good things in GW2 with a little of “the devs are listening”

No doubt this game is great bang for your buck
in my 1.5k hours or so ive spent 20 bucks on gems because i just really wanted more inventory space, i got it now so never gonna spend a dime again..so total 80 bucks for PLENTY of gametime is no doubt worth it imo… but I have to admit if there was xpac like content being added everyone would be happier
I dunno how much anet has made from gem store sales, but I know its been dropping off (official article, said last quarter earnings IN-GAME sales down 25%) which is why we are seeing more gemstore items added literally every 2 weeks. This focus on more gemstore is misplaced….if they actually added expac like content , there would probably be a spike in players coming back or new players, thus more $$ for NCsoft…
If they keep up with this focus of LS story + gemstore and everything else is secondary, than this game won’t have much of a future with the likes of EQN, Wildstar, ESO, etc coming into town
