Ok i had to stop watching this morning after the ORNG and car crash game. I just hate when this is a Esportz game and there is only 1 style of play that wins. Total joke but best yet was more guns then roses ran the double warrior and thief. Great balance within the game in the match i think we can all say.

Another thing in the NA scene is another NA team just didnt show up. Apex vs The Abjured, these people are gonna get paid? Seriously if your team misses a match is there a suspension from the next league system or anything?

So lastly i hope that more of these other teams run weird crazy comps. Like 1 team runs old meta builds like maybe a spirit ranger, a turret engy, cele rifle engy or d/d ele. I think it be great to show how bad the balance in the game is when it comes to multiple build selections and play styles.

Also can we get the play by play guys to quit rolling up there sleeves? Its just weird looking.

So you want “pro-teams” to not run the best/optimal builds but troll themselves for viewer entertainment? That won’t happen, I honestly have been watching the last few pro leagues na/eu just for twitch chat. The devs already know how bad the balance is once they wiped out bunker meta completely and barely touched engi, and made necro god mode almost (I can go on with ele, etc.) The only team I could say went full yolo was zero counterplay in na, they had nothing to lose bringing in subs and had 0 chance, I don’t actually blame them playing yolo comps, at least it was more entertaining than seeing a terrible meta unfold. To address your last statement? I have 0 clue what you are trying to say. I think they were actually trying to have fun in what each person mained in over the tournament, since it is over for them.

And Zero Counterplay almost took a set off PZ. If not for the basic mistake Aeroxe made they would have won that set.

I wished they stream those thing on YouTube instead. So much potential wasted.

I thought the pro league has been amazing and this week has been one of the best ( I have only seen EU, NA is on at 1am for me so that isn’t really a possibility so I watch that after it has finished). CC vs. orange was a fantastic matchup for me because anything 2-1 is awesome and I am glad to see car crashed win (nothing against orng, I just love an upset). Also more guns running 2 warr, thief and dragon-hunter was amazing to me and I would have loved to see them win with that composition. So yes, lots of excitement in general this week for me and I have no doubt that next week will be as well. I don’t really care if there is a bunker meta, I watch to see exciting games of pvp between the world’s best pvp teams, and that is exactly what I get most of the time. I can’t wait to see who wins the whole thing.

I would never suggest this because it means something to some of them. Its important for GW2 as a game since its trying to be Esports to have a decent PvP set up.

Also its one thing to know the PvP scene is bad but the constant inability to even make it fun and come out with a Pro League and a PvP season.

The idea that you have to run certain classes and builds to even be competitive is a slap in the face. Before Hot every team looked some what different and every team had its own play style. We dont know the upcoming changes and new meta coming and i feel Anet should have to see what they put out on the table.

Btw, does anyone know if someone from More Guns has spoken up as to why they ran that comp? Were they just messing around, figuring they would lose anyways or were they seriously trying this as a counter strat?

I would love to know too, i saw the 1 guy running old school hambow and i was like ohhhhhhhh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lets go and then boom, hes down.

Hambow had its day in the sun for like 4-5 months and anet nerfed it. I really wonder how it works sometimes because d/d ele didnt get nerfed till HOT basically came out and they had to nerf bunker mesmer when 1 team quit in the ESL league.

I actually want to know more about this team since they ran that comp. So awesome to see.

Yea, I can pretty much outline how that game would go:

The eles would 100-0 a target instantly…then, they’d get wiped while the single downed target gets revived.

I was one of the 2600 viewers… For like 2 games…

My Monday nights were about watching Twitch but this was so boring it’s not even funny anymore. Absolutely not enjoyable.

Oh and ANET please nerf Dragonhunters they are so OP it’s ridiculous! Kappa!
