10?…100? This company is just a joke almost every third thread is about the lag in the evening on EU and still not fixed (after almost 3 months? and several dc’s in tournaments (lol?))
They need to tone down on the marketing, if the lag has to do with anything, its that massive influx of people playing PvP and crashing there servers. They should send the PvP developers to work on hyping up PvE and WvW stuff instead because theres too much hype for PvP and too many people playing games that they didn’t anticipate which clogs up server.
I mean, theres tournament going on, pvp buffs, what other reason is there for the servers to get clogged?
No the point is that the servers are lagging already for 3 months and today there was a GM in Hotm who asked us if we were lagging..i mean srsly? This turns just into a sadstory
I think it has something to do with their servers, last time I contacted them on the matter they suggested gaming proxies… which didn’t actually do much lol.
Try to use a hard line connection with no one else on your wifi, while there try creating 2 more GW2 shortcuts but add “/clientport 80” and “/clientport 6112” outside the quotations at the end of the string for each short cut.
I’ve had varrying results over the months/years. but tbh I think it’s a lot better than it was a year ago… apart from recent problems and DDOS attacks.

The lag and rubberbanding has come and gone, but since patch it’s been pretty much all the time. I basically just stopped doing PvP as for some reason it’s worse there than PvE and even WvW.
It’s really getting out of hand. What’s strange is that I have lag on certain matches and not others. I’m compiling a list of the IPs (EU) of all the hot join games that lag for me. Really hope this gets fixed soon as I can’t queue for games anymore fearing I might get the laggy ones where the freezes are so bad, you can’t even move.
I had some nasty lag on NA yesterday evening during prime-time… forgot to record the IP. I think the devs have stated in the past, if you’re getting lag, type /ip and post that so they can look into it.
They have a major issue somewhere. I was bored this morning at 4 A.M. server and wondered over to Tequatl, and the event was going smooth until everybody had lag and it disconnected 4/6 of the turret people and then some. According to some people there it had been happening off and on during large events. I know I had it on a WvW map over the weekend too that maybe had 2 half zergs on it. But yeah, NA prime had some lag again last night. I haven’t queued since the patch because I feel so sluggish with rubberbanding almost all the time.

But, PVP would be on a different server from the PVe crap or even WVW.
I suggest you people invest in better comps. I have never lagged in this game, my fps has not dropped below 130 and I have never been kicked.

I suggest you people invest in better comps. I have never lagged in this game, my fps has not dropped below 130 and I have never been kicked.
AHAHAHAAHAAHAAHH, this has nothing to do with player hardware but more so server hardware! I run around 150-200 fps at all times and the lag is still there. The servers on the other hand seem to run on a low frequency of frames per second which causes stuttering. It is starting to take its toll and i dont get why developers have not fixed the problem or atleast aknowledged it by posting on the forums.
