Leader boards working as intended?
Supcutie is so good that the game gives him free rating while he’s afk, true story.
people around you can gain or lose rating you know? and thus your rating can move to another possition in leaderboard…
what is not working is leaderboard decay, so people who didnt play for ages wouldnt be there…

Supcutie did not play any games, yet still moved up in rank PASSING someone who only won, there is no way he could have gained rating without playing.
Here’s how to think about it:
1. What does the board rank represent? Your MMR’s relative to the other people on the board.
2. Could Supcuties MMR rise relative to the other people on the board even though his MMR did not change?

- Losses Deduct 1 point
- Points decay at an predetermined rate at reset (5% per day, for example)
- Rank people by points with decay. Rank people by points without decay
- Finished.

Because you are not thinking about Elo ranking and why they wanted to use it for the leaderboards. It will make more sense if you look up Elo ranking and what it is good for.
The leaderboards do need an aggressive decay.
