The leader board fix to prevent late season sniping is evidently not working. The lengths people will go to to game the system amaze me. Devs please see #4 in the screenshot enclosed.

Anyways after three straight stacked matches, I’ve got my league participator daily.. time to wander off to some other game mode.

The threshold should have been 100 matches.

If someone is a dedicated PvPer, they could at least average 1 match per day over the course of an entire season.

They said the threshold will be higher next season, and they will have a weekly threshold as well. Matchmaking is far better than it was in previous seasons for the matches I played, but it could still be better. I think Evan said that he was reducing volatility or something like that in another thread? I didn’t pay attention but it sounded like it would make the matchmaking even better for next season

If he’s so well known then why hasn’t anyone videod him cheating and sent it to Anet to get him banned yet?

It’s was problem for a moment in EU but rank 55 showed that they won’t give up their top spots for exploiters.

I agree is not proof.

But on this forum and the reddit threads. There seems to be 2 groups at the top manipulating matches in some sort of fashion.

Kat/Annabelle has complained about jeff jeff jeff and its gone both ways.

What the screen shot shows is a alt account of X player who then throws the match so the main account can rise. X alt account is then shared by a few elite players winning the matches they are not in together to maintain its high rating.

Obviously its very hard to prove but everyone can see shady business going on but no one knows the truth besides the people in each small group.

What i do know is EU top players have played hundreds of games. Almost all of them.

We have Marvin/olrun and i would say about 5 more with legit 300 games played on 1 account.

You have accounts like tokers alt(#4), vallun who have played 40 or so games and hold a top 5 spot and a top 40 spot.

Another thread showed how the top 5 were all around 20XX rating. They let it decay and then 5 accounts boosted 2200+.

So there is simply just alot of evidence of manipulation but im just speculating.

No matter how the season ends, its on Anet to give the community a good leader board and one that is actually on the forum.

You know we are only in SEASON 5 ABOUT TO BE 6.

Who is going to be crowned God of PvP. Lol I’m sorry I can’t even say that with a straight face without laughing. ANet just needs to ban cheaters, but since they obviously won’t. leader boards are still a joke.

I will say good luck to you GW2’s conquest players on yalls Sixth Ranked Season. And may ANet make the next season leader boards less of a joke.

The threshold for titles should be around two hundred games. I don’t blame people for working within the rules we have now but really Moobbs and Nos have been playing minimal games for weeks now. Not singling them out many have done it just they are on the screenie and not even the subject of this op just making a point. The whole idea of playing sparingly to protect rating is a bad one and counter intuitive to a game meant to be played. I understand we dont want the game to be a grind but these seasons are two months long. Around 150-300 games over a time period of 2 months is not a grind at all. I would expect someone that actually liked this game to want to play at least that much. I mean if pvping 4-5 hours a week on average (a rough average of what 200 games played would be time wise per week for 2 months not going to go over the calcuation was quick and dirty and I think I was generous its probably less) is too much for you then you don’t deserve the title because your are not putting your rating out there enough quite frankly.

Why would Arena Net ban them for doing any of this? We all know by now Arena Net is more likely to make a stink about people Name shaming on the forums rather then Enforcing their TOA especially when it comes to these kinds of things something you should keep in mind steelheart as I see you mentioned a few of those players in regards to this issue Anet is more likely to do something about you and your post naming them in it vs what their actually accused of even if there was proof funny how that works out isn’t it lol
