How long will it take until the rating of an inactive player starts to go down?

In my opinion the best time period would probably be 1 week, this way people are forced to play rather than just camp the Leaderboard. I also think that there should be a specific number of games that a player has to play during a period of time. some players might play 1 games a month/week on second accounts or something like that to stop the decay, that would also be a problem.

What do you guys think is the best period until the decay starts?
also what do you think about having a specific number of games, if you agree then how many games in a specific amount of time?

There shouldn’t be a decay, ppl should be removed from the ladder after 2 weeks of inactivity, and only go back to the live ladder once they’ve played at least 1 match. That one match is added to the previous rating ofc.

So you wouldn’t be punished if you can’t play for a month, but would need to play to stay on the ladder.

Never seen anyone get top of the leaderboard and keep playing. Usually they akitten for 2 weeks then play and get demoted.

No fighting champions in gw2 unfortunately.

leaderboard decay should have been there in the first place, so for me it’s a welcome addiction.
I mean, there are people who never played since leaderboards got introduced, and they’re still there XD
