On page 3 currently there is a guy (named Terribad thief on NA pchow.1956) he won a single game in this update period however he dropped 41 ranks, how is this possible? Is there some way to stop your losses from popping up or something?

I had in the top 25, he played one game and won and dropped out of the top 100.

Go figure.

I have played almost 900 games and if I lose 2 games I drop about 200 ranking places and visa versa. As someone with detailed knowledge on statistics this worries me. It should be that any effect on the average (or rating as it is in game) is effected by the sample size. Thus, your rating should become far less volatile the more games you play. The fact it doesnt means I really dont see how the system works.

Keep in mind it’s only the games since the 26th march that have an effect on your win/loss. And only the games since MMR came out late February affect rating and so ranking, not the total over all.

I just won another 4/5 games and still can’t see myself. No idea anymore. I’ll just keep playing I spose. There’s peeps with 20 games played and 50% win ratio ahead of me some how.

I got 105 wins 60 loses, won 8 in a row yesterday and moved only 4 places forward, I don’t get your issues…

I have over 950 games played,today won at least 6 games and lost 4 and i cant see myself on leaderboard…kitten?

The main problem is that obviously this system treats somebody with 10 games played and a 60% winning percentage much like someone with 200 games played and a 60% winning percentage. So what you have is people with a ludicrously small ammount of games played keeping people who play more from even showing up in the rankings or showing up far lower in the rankings then they should. I’m not saying quantity should count over quality but there has to be a better way then whats going on now.

I was somewhere around 80…then i suddenly disappeared after 8 runs with 7 wins and 1 lost…dunno wtf is going on on this leaderboard, not to mention those who just leave the game before losing, seems that leaving just before match ends could “save” your rank…dunno if it’s actually working but i see many high ranked folks leaving at 490…if true no wonder how many bads can get high places….

Meh…bugs and more bugs (and many abusing for sure..) imo…nothing new..

Someone said it takes into account the past games post reset, but doesn’t list them in the stats sooo wrong stats wrong ranks they have done a crap job. I mean they prolly just put there buddies up at the top cause no one could know any different. It has pretty much ruined tpvp for me keep trying to play it but it just gets worse and worse with all the people afking all the people leaving matches I should just stop wasting my time. Heck I always was one of the guys to defend anet, but had a post voicing my worries deleted because they said it was QQ. 4 stars Anet 4 stars

How to play this new awesome tpvp:

Step 1 – Join Solo
Step 2 – Play normally
Step 3 – If you’re winning just win and gg if you’re loosing just leave
Restart

Profit.

No need to wait for a premade and so on…just keep trying until you win…you suck? Who cares…just keep farming…
