Everyone should just accept this and move on. The solo q system is awesome because:

1, If you do make a team now you know you face a team which is good.
2, It is fun to compete against non-meta set ups

Everyone knows there are a group of “well known” pvpers who will teamspeak and sync etc to get easy wins in solo q. But who cares? Just dont take the leaderboard seriously. It doesnt matter. The solo q games in of themselves are fun and worthwhile.

Losing can induce rage of course, but don’t get too involved in the leaderboards and you will see that all the QQ about solo q is unfounded. Solo q is amazing and helped this game so much, along with map rotation.

And I say this as someone with 2 accounts in the top 30 despite not being one of those serial syncers/teamspeakers. How? 1, I play necro. 2, I was lucky with teams – which I expect to end. 3, I have played very well. Despite this, being highly ranked doesn’t mean I am good. Because the whole leaderboard system is even more flawed than the team queue system (I though that impossible!).

So just chill out and play everyone.

Jesus christ. All I want is an automatic thread trasher that deletes topics the moment it reads the title and it says either of these words: SoloQ or Leaderboards.

Arent you all sick of posting the same kitten over and over again? Look at the kitten frontpage.

If I have to treat Soloque as if I am playing brainless Modern Warfare 3 I might as well go back to my little PvE pigeon hole and stay there. Or better play another game. I will give it a month so if by September this stupidity carries on I will just give it a rest.

There are a couple of positive things indeed,

a.Facing a super group such as TMO Lee, Starcraft Six, Sîzer, Yoloque and one vs one them.
b.Plenty of well known players who die for instance from D/P because they are playing fotm builds/classes like rank 1.
c.The amount of Asuras and players thinking that it will carry them. .

I am just going to treat soloque as an ego feast. Because that is all I get out of it.

To me its not that I care about ranking high on the leaderboard its just the principle of the matter and the fact that A-net never seems to think these things through. They know kitten well that in a truly random enviornment even the best shouldn’t be winning 80-90% or even 100% of there games from a mathematical standpoint. To me I would accept a post by them saying there was nothing they could do about it because its probably the truth the queues for these solo matches are like 5-10 minutes half the time just to get 10 people together. The sad fact of the matter is that tpvp is just not that popular. But it just stinks of incompetence.

you should change the thread title. it seems like just another QQ about leaderboards – but instead its like a motivation to care less about leaderboards and more about the fun of playing
