Leagues on 23 or after some weeks?
Not just bugs, but the first few months are going to be unbalanced as kitten knowing anet’s speed on balancing.
ANet said there would be some settling time after a patch before they start a league. HoT release will have a patch, so at least 2 weeks before they start up. Maybe more depending on how bad it is.

Sigh that logic alone is why this game will never get to esport level.

I remembered something like that, but I wasn’t sure.
Yeah, 2 weeks after is really possible.

League of Legends has the same philosophy, and I wouldn’t say they haven’t reached esports levels.

I just hope you aren’t trying to compare the balancing frequency of league to the balancing frequency of GW2. It isn’t even in the same ball park. League is an eSport and balances often. GW2 tries to balance twice a year.
A ladder with mixed solo/team queue, haha good one Anet but no thanks.
I hope the ladders are there at least. Literally no reason to play at the moment.

I doubt leagues will launch with the expansion. they will have way too many other priorities to make sure the game is chugging along. probably a few weeks in, maybe a month, we’ll get leagues.
Whats annoying is that they havent openly expressed themselves about why theyre not going to implement soloq, if that is he case. Currently we dont know anything other than being spoon fed. That leaves us with questions and frustration. Id settle with it if they could just tell us what and why, which is kinda the transparency theyve shown with raid info and its vision/road ahead
I used to be a power ranger, now not sure anymore
It will give people time to practice the new specializations and to find new exploits with them, or have you already found one and want to use it ASAP in the leagues before people find out about it. It’s a chronomancer build I presume? I don’t know why you want leagues to start ASAP when there’s a kittenton of things people need to test out first, both by players and devs.

But they are now committing to balancing every quarter after each season.

Leagues on mid November?
Little extract from esl pro news
“The Pro League, the Guild Challenger League, and the PvP League all run in parallel at the same time during a season”
“Four of the eight Pro League slots per region will be given to existing top teams—teams that have either participated in World Tournament Series Finals events or are top ranking in the ongoing October Go4GuildWars2 Cups. The other four slots will be up for grabs in an open qualifier event in which any team can participate. We’ll be kicking off the Season One Pro League Qualifier in mid-November, so you have plenty of time to put your team together for a shot at going pro. "
