Guild Wars 2

After playing another match in placements and dealing with same kitten that has been last season I am not gonna play that mode again. EC map is unplayable for me, because I’m constantly loosing fps on the mid point (even on LOWEST settings) – thus I can’t aim properly and usually I’m killed instantly.

This time I’m not even gonna bother with placements. WvW looks much better now and more fun to play.

You really think FPS will be higher in WvW than in sPvP?

I can believe it, analogous to the “laser event” on the DBL that got removed from the game. Remember entire guilds and 50-75% of players getting DCed when it was going off and how entire raids used to just abandon and switch maps just to get out before it hits ?

This seems to have similar issues / mechanics, just on the smaller scale.

Tbh it’s not the only place in the game that has this issiue for me. Anyway, good luck playing this game mode.

WvW is a lot better than PvP right now.

idk i literally play on a potatoe and i dont get fps drops on EC

Coliseum has the “confetti” floating around that your computer has to process. I think it’s a nice effect but it does increase the load on your CPU, by how much I don’t know.

The confetti is a fairly basic particle effect. The load from it should be trivial.

After a good placement (gold T3) I found myself on a losing streak (20 or 36 pts per match) till I figured out I had 2 guys making placement in my team still lost like 35 pts.
Nothing new, just like last season
So now I’m playing as I want since I lost the faith in this system and hopes to get to the top. I have like other 6 chars, only know how to play with one but who cares. why learn in unranked when you can learn with the “pros”

I love the quotes on “pros” lol, they are definitely professionals at being complete kitten and send you personal messages on these forums like they are of any importance. Unfortunately when you have an elitist attitude with a huge ego, you probably think your farts smell like pancakes with blueberries.

What potato are you playing on? I use a 5yo Lenovo Ideapad most of the time and don’t have significant lag issues on EC.
