Less QQ More Pew-Pew
O quick addition. You guys would probably spend your time a lot more effectively if you spent have as much time learning how to counter these “OP classes” as you did complaining about them because anet will do things in their own time might aswell spend it productively.
Who’s complaining about warriors being op? They’re probably one of the most blah classes in tpvp.
Maybe in spvp they wreck newbs but tpvp they are underrepresented because of other classes being so much stronger.
“That big kitten Norn with The Juggernaut”
warriors blah in tpvp?!
Not sure if troll or just uneducated
I’m glad I’m not the only one who think this is getting out of hand no constructive criticism and can’t deal with the truth I’m sure a lot of the developers don’t read the posts at all because it makes them mad and they just want to tell them l2p its in the pvp blog less qq more pew pew. feedback sure spam no.
I’ve noticed this trend too. It is getting out of hand imo
Agreed. You can play whatever you like anyway, wvw forum >>> that way.

Every top team has pretty much stated that fact in various streams.
Just looking at what the classes bring to a team objectively warriors have no place on a top tier competitive team. Other classes provide the same roles only vastly superior in function and team synergy.
Yaks Bend
like i said some of these topics need to be changed and others are just people crying cuz they didnt dodge at the right moment or arent quick enough with their stun breakers and what not. everyone knows that warriors are trash in competitive play but people still whine about 100B and thats the kind of stuff that is flooding this forum and is completely pointless to be stated or discussed. I honestly thought this forum was for idea swapping (i could be wrong) but all it is are people going on and on and on when anet stated they know the issues and they will get to it.

Actually you will find more warriors than thieves in the top teams.
Thief shines on kyhlo though.
Warriors are fine and have plenty of places in competive play as well. Just because the current meta 2 months into the game doesn’t involve them doesn’t mean anything honestly.
There are and will be specs/builds that people find later down the road that will show there worth in top tier play. Just like eles were 4 weeks ago. (Everyone was crying that they sucked so hard in spvp until people found better builds)
Almost every class has a place in some type of top tier team.
Almost all comps have some counter and weakness.
Started looking on these forums today trying to see new strats, team comps, and what have you to better my pvp play for the upcoming tournaments and all i found is NERF THIS NERF THAT THIEVES WARRIORS MESMERS MOA NERF RAGE NERF MAD SO MAD RAGE NERF.
+1
If these posters spent half of that time on build craft and improving skill and strategy, both the game and forums would be much more enjoyable. Its really like the devs said, “Less QQ more Pew-Pew”

You can’t go off of what “top teams” are stating because, well, theoretically, there are no top teams (as of yet). I’m not trying to diminish the credibility of successful teams, but just because someone on twitch says that warriors aren’t viable, doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t (viable).
By no means would I consider myself a poor or inexperienced player, however, on several occasions I have witnessed a warrior, mind you, an extremely well played warrior, contest and defend nodes, and be the driving force in doing so. In fact, I would not undermine a well played warrior even slightly.

My translation:
“You are a crybaby for providing customer feedback, shut up and play”
‘Less QQ more pew pew’ and ‘L2P’ is trendy, divisive, groupthink language that ends up putting whole sections of a disenfranchised gaming community down.
Personally, I think it’s clear that the unbalanced nature of conquest is exasperating all the OP issues to no fault of our own, but it’s deconstructive to have a thread concerning the people talking bad about the game, to talk bad about the people.
I’d like to see the game empowering everyone on a more level playing field with a few more options and adjustments; for my benefit, the company’s benefit, and your benefit. Sure some people get emotional, and sure we have our share of complainers, but most people accept the fact that this game has some legitimate issues to be addressed.
I’ll agree with you on one point: it should be easier to come on these forums and get tips and strategies; even paramount.
So here’s one more suggestion for yours, mine, Anet, and everyone else’s benefit:
Close this thread in lieu of a pvp sub-forum for constructive criticism

The OP stated it very poorly, but yes, it is very fortunate that the devs are not listening to all the ignorant and sensationalist demands made of this player base. Even when the devs make an effort to communicate some basic thoughts to the player base, it back-fires on them as they underestimated the ignorance and knee-jerk reactions of the base.
I’ll be honest, when they said they were looking at defensive elementalist, I was a little surprised as I had just started to see the hints of effective defensive eles in the best competitive tPvP as an anti treb mesmer. My first thought, was “well, kitten they sure are good as dmg so being serviceable as a defensive objective assault is at least a bone to throw them.”
Well I have news for you, over the last month or so, defensive ele builds have stood out as some of the most difficult builds to deal with, with good players being able to take on a bunker and power (guard and mesmer) build at the same time and end with full health (killing the mesmer and leaving the guard). If I had to put my money on the most “unbalanced” build on the moment that would be it.
Let me restate that… The devs were aware of a build being a little too powerful before it had really even surfaced in the infancy of the competitive scene; let alone the sPvP zerg-balance-demanding masses who couldn’t even begin to fathom eles being too powerful in one aspect.
I could not be more encouraged by the current track record and apparent knowledge of the people who are tasked with balancing this game and that isn’t even taking into account their record of balance in GW1.
