How can we not QQ when our Bristlebacks are purple yolos.
1. Could you have just dodged the trap? (Answer: Yes)
2. Could you have guessed where the traps are? (Answer: Yes)
This drives me back 2 years ago when thieves told:
1. Could you have just dodged the backstab? (Answer: Yes)
2. Could you have guessed where the thief is? (Answer: Yes)
Difference is backstab never hit so hard as DH traps
but they’re a lot stronger
than they will be next year!

These probably aren’t the balance-fixes that we were all expecting, mainly just an attack on game-bugs. They seriously addressed not one of the issues that we have been complaining about in terms of pvp class balance. While some of the issues may be l2p, there is no way that every single thing we have complained about is seen as totally ok by the devs. Believe me, the balance will come. Might be a while though, I predict before leagues drop.
I love how often stability is touted as something you should use to counter all of the CC’s in pvp. Guess what? thieves don’t get stability.

When you die to something next time just think about what you did:

Hopefully the community can just start learning how to play better instead of going to ask for a nerf on the forum.

Too be honest, you can kinda predict where it is and where it will be. The only issue traps might have atm is that they’re kinda spammable. Maybe increase the cooldown a notch and it’s fine imo.
You see a DH on point. (Stab +) dodge into it.

>Kite a dragonhunter on point with 8K trueshots, and virtue of courage which litterally blocks everything from the front. And virtue of justice which he can use on you after you waisted your endurance dodging thier 1.5 to 2 k basics shots. To draw you in and use their traps. The only way u get behind a dragonhunter is with stealth, Or be a daredevil or thief. Get to close to a DH and get knockbacked. When he knocks you back. He get’s stabilty. Making it even harder to get him off point. If you by some chance manage to win a ranged battle against a dragonhunter. Better hope you haven’’t wasted too much precious time waisting your points. Basically they way to fight a dragon hunter on a close or far node. Is offpoint figthing solely.
>Waiste your stability on thier initial trap so that they can pull you down. with virtue of justice or use dragonsmaw. And daze and dps you till thier 25 sec procession of blades is ready to go again. Also they have a knockback with longbow every 15 secs. Also cripple. U can only realy fight DH by figthing offpoint. And sure u can dodge thier teleports. But figthing a DH is overall very impractical. Those tactics really work somewhat in an 1 v 1 situation. But that’s not it. U are bound to waister your stability and endurance on other foes then the dragonhunter.
Bassically what you are telling us. Don’t get hit. Which is absurd.
I can’t wait till they nerf it so we can jump on the next OP class. It’s a never ending cycle until they buff the weaker classes instead of nerfing everything.
Also, lol at the QQ. Because they will always QQ no matter what.
Anet doesn’t care about the opinions of all these terrible solo q’ers who sit on traps,then cross the trap and eat more damage and die. They watch tournaments on a competitive level to decide what needs fixing and what doesn’t. Dragonhunter does not dominate the competitive scene because unlike all you dumb solo q’ers players with even half a brain know how to get out of traps.
This game has bruisers, bunkers, and burst for a reason. Just because your reaction time is slow and you die to burst doesn’t mean its overpowered. Burst is needed because specializations like tempest,druids,scrappers, reapers wouldn’t die without burst. This is where dragonhunters/revenants come into play.
QQ more please its funny reading a different post every hour about how some idiot got 1 shot by traps.

I wont even begin to ask how you think guessing whether a certain patch of normal-looking ground will instakill you or not if you walk on it is strategic or a mark of skillful counterplay in any way.

It’s just not Dragon Hunter. There are a lot of things that need to be balanced. Any time a huge content patch with new abilities is put in there are things that are going to be needed to be adjusted. It’s just the way it is the devs are human beings and things can really only be tested when things go live and thousands of players are hammering on them on a daily basis for a few weeks straight. To deny this to me you just want to protect yourself or what is op on the class you play or you are an idiot. Im hoping its the former.
