I have been away for a while but have returned and I’m trying to get a friend to start playing. They have gotten the game and account but they like to PvP. They attempted to PvP but it is saying they must be level 25 to do so. Is this restriction new? I remember being able to PvP as soon as you finish the starting sequence at level 2.

Ye to use the ui shortcut to pvp is level locked, but the gate in LA is usable at lv2. It’s dumb as hell but it’s what we got.

If he has no characters above level 22, you need to use the portal in Lion’s Arch

The shortcut does not work, and the screen button does not work until level 22 on brand new accounts, if it has a character above 22, then the shortcut will work, but the button will not appear until 22.

I think anet went waay to far when they decided to make the game more noob friendly
