Sometimes, if your on a server getting its kitten handed to it wvw it is not viable. I think there should be an option to receive xp instead of glory or whatever it is in bg’s or warzones or whatever they are called. I want to level pvp’ing but there are times when it is impossible due to server imbalances. That means if I want to level I am forced to pve. That does not seem to be in line with the mission statement of the game which was freedom.

Its totally separate, and its separate for a reason.

WvW is still balancing out with ranks, and you can server transfer.

I agree with OP, as a guy who hates PVE, I have none of my characters past level 2. I strictly pvp, and this eliminates WvW pvp for me. What harm would it do to give xp for wvw?

It may take six months to reach max level, but I don’t care…I just want to avoid playing mundane hours of killing machine mobs so that I can pvp. Which is why I bought this game in the first place (Spvp)

I disagree. PVP and PVE are separated for a reason. Why should you level in pvp when it has nothing to do with PVE? You don’t need to level to play pvp. So why should you level?

you should level in WvW…I am fine with not leveling in Spvp
