All the traits you put in LF gain. Running that Soul Reaping trait line.

I actually tried running a Dagger build with GS – A bit of hybrid. You neeeeed LF traits. You need every single LF support you can cram in your build.

Do you know why they havent changed this? Why LF is so not easily attained on more than 50% of the class? I’ll tell you.

Anet doesn’t play necromancers that often. When they do. They run the same LF support on their builds. So it doesn’t click. they think “seems all well and fine to me wahts this talk about wars can gain adrenaline easier than LF on necros? I have no problem.”

EDIT: I want to laugh about this a little more. So most likely in their minds they think “well on these other traits its more about gaining health. This should mean that they get nearly zero LF” Makes sense right? ONLY IT DOESNT lol Oh thats right. Does any other class forfeit their class mechanic because they started to stat more in life gain or damage or pure bunker or anything like that? No. Just necromancers and life gain. Its so broken.

I love Power Reaper, but I will say that it does suck you literally dont stand a chance, without Lifeforce. You have to actually build it up, whereas other classes can just use defenses/heals on demand

Probably for the same reason why your auto-attack doesn’t make your character instantly suicide?

Back in Season 1 or 2, maybe. Now a necro with full LF have a chance to fight someone but still lose against more or less every class of this game. Also, a full LF bar will allow you to don’t be killed for more or less 3 seconds more, but you need to waste all your life force to do that. Also the LF decrease by itself while you’re in Shroud, everyone can just kite a little with movement skills and block and make you waste all your LF doing no damage. Or just strip you out of shroud with a burst combo, easy and fast. Expecially in team fights.
No more godmode for necros, still with full LF.

The fact that the LF don’t decrease to 0 when you die is the only thing that make necros viable in coordinated teams. If a necro start all the time with no LF there will be no reason to play this class, it will be even more easy to kill than actually are.

Clearly you need to play more to see how OP necro really is

I still think that all healing should penetrate shroud and that alone would address many of the class’s overarching issues. It’s a really bad mechanic that other players can blast water fields to heal you and have it completely wasted because you’re in shroud.

They could turn the spectral skills (aside Lichform (which is another problem for another time)) into skills that either give you life force or, when in shroud, heal you.
Still one cooldown, would need an open utility bar in Shroud (which would solve a lot for the necro to be honest) and actually open up more options since the spectral skills really have no place at the moment. At least from what i can tell.
