Over the last 7 days a few of us have been trying to recreate the old PvXwiki and collect all GW2 builds at one place(Metabattle), we are finished with the PvP section and here is a list of the builds:

If you would like to help out with the wiki, you are free to create an account and contribute whenever you want to. We would love if we could get some extra help with the PvE/WvW sections.

Thanks for bringing it back, it was a great tool in GW1. You should probably post this in general discussion/wvw discussion so people there can add builds for those game modes as spvpers don’t always play them.

This is exactly what we’ve needed as far as a build resource website.

I’m going to make a note to go through the warrior builds this weekend just to refine them a little bit.

Pfft, as if you know how to play warrior, Rar. You haven’t even accepted your Killshot overlords yet.

My issue with site so far: I posted Banner Bunker, people edited it into a condition build. They changed mace/shield to longbow, cleric’s to settlers, and decreased health to get longer bleed duration. At that point, it’s not even the same build. They changed a full bunker build to a condition build, and it still has the same votes as before, so people will think it’s decent.

I guess anyone editing anything may not be such a good idea in some cases.

though it is pretty hilarious. The site needs some polish but it really reminds me of pvx, very cool.

The website is pretty new and everything isn’t perfect atm, we are however learning from our mistakes and improving the website constantly.

for engeneer i would insert turrets engeneer, now it can be really strong , in solo queue in particulary

0.0 since when has the alturisti bunker guard better than the traditional one? IMHO it should be the other way around

Quick update from one of the PvP admins:

• In general, there is no need to freak out about that someone edited their build drastically – they are rare and major changes should be discussed before they are made, otherwise the author can just request a rollback and we can do that with 1 click.

• We only posted the builds that would get at least to the “Good” category, that’s why we have like 5-6 engineer builds but no turrets – while they are easy to play and it’s certainly faceroll, every single engineer build outperforms it. In a teamfight turrets won’t be up for more than 5 seconds and then the engi just becomes useless, and in a 1v1 a D/D ele or a warrior can just demolish it along with the engi. It’s really easy to counter with many classes and we weren’t confident that it would hit 4 stars. You are however free to submit that build on your own if you believe that it will receive better rating.

• Nobody said AH bunker’s better, both AH and “Traditional” bunker are under the Great category – but AH happens to be the meta with the majority of the teams taking it over the other. AH has more self sustain especially vs Power specs while the “Traditional” has less healing but more condi cleansing + anti-CC.

Tbh that seems to be somewhat of a personal hate against turret engies.

They are very good at 1v1, can tank 1v2, and can provide a lot of utility in team fights from the reflect bubbles. They are one of the best general counters I’ve seen to lich form and a wide variety of ranged ledgers (e.g. eura ranger).

The fact that no ranger build is listed as “meta” or “great” also brings your ranking system into question. These builds should be ranked against others from the same class, not against the other classes. There IS a meta ranger build and there are great ones relative to ranger builds.

It really depends on where you want the build to excel. If you mean at high levels of play, then turret engineer is mediocre. It’s still not bad, but it’s manageable. If you mean in solo queue or medium levels of play, the build easily gets 4-5 stars. People like to say how easy it is to counter, but the build can work quite well. It’s just brainless and passive.
