This was a match after i had won 2 in a row. The 2 thiefs kept running to far and were killed everytime.

Why bother? How can the other team which were all SoloQ, have that composition….and they throw the 5 members of my team together?

Its clearly my skill. I should L2P.

Fun fact: today i had a match, we ended up with 2 thieves on team (me and other guy). The team kept blaming us for not doing well etc.

Then we split during the match, me and thief were fighting 2v2 at far and our team had 3v2 fight at home (5th enemy was at mid). Our team at home managed to wipe. They had “proper” classes, were outnumbering enemy and yet they managed to wipe. CLEARLY sole reason why we lost that match is because of double thief…. el oh el.

Thieves are blamed way too often for no good reasons in pvp.

Regardless 1 thief should have switched to offer the best chance of victory.

I do tend to find that a lot of the thief players who refuse to switch when you get 2 aren’t that good.

I agree. Its not that 2 teefs is actually THAT bad. Its the fact that both refused to switch which tends to be indicative of their lack of skill. Tends to mean they don’t care about winning and want to be carried.

Some people play for fun. You know, games are meant to be played for fun. Some people rather play thief and have fun than force themselves to play something they don’t enjoy.
inb4 go do unranked etc. Unranked has skyhammer, no ty. Besides even ranked are just pixels, nothing more.

I have won plenty of games with double thief. It has nothing to do with team carrying or not, it has something to do with team actually changing their strategy instead of spending whole match at spawn and blaming thieves.

wasnt trying to bash thieves, i have seen some good thief play. was just a way to say 2 players kept going back to same spot to be killed, sorry

Matchmaking was horrible today. Went from 11 to 0 pips in diamond because I lost every single match. Most of them were blow outs and even if I would be one of the best players ever probably uncarryable.

More fun fact: You should provide more detail. Yes, your team sucked but for all we know, you and the other thief were fighting on an enemy capped point at far all game.

I had some guy get an attitude with me the other day and blame the loss on me for constantly running to far, (and actually capping it several times because it was empty) only to argue that I wasn’t helping the team win in the group fight in mid.

1. I just capped the only point we have.
2. It’s a group fight in which you already outnumber the other team and are still struggling to survive or getting massacred.
3. It’s a group fight consisting of more than likely at least 2 necros and my condi cleanse is a little lacking other than a dodge removal and maybe one other ability without sacrificing utility.

People are absolutely mind-numbingly obsessed with “MID AND HOME MID AND HOME MID AND HOME” even if it means they’re going to repeatedly wipe in mid and give the other team 200 points in deaths before they realize their strategy isn’t working.

No common sense.

I dont know how MM works. They said they party people up with you who was at your level last season. I made it to legendary 2 and its been a weird ride. 2 games im with people who are killing it. Next game im with people who cant win any fight.

Today me and 3 guild mates decided to do guild missions. We went 4-0, we did 1 stronghold in unranked and won 3 vs 5. Then won our 3 ranked matches. 1 just entered ruby, ive been stuck in t5-t6 for 2 weeks, another hasnt won in 2 days and is in the last tier of sapphire and our last player doesnt play PvP.

I find it so odd that when i solo que i am struggling like no other to get consecutive wins but when im with some guild mates we are controlling a majority of the situations against other partial premades.

Your ability to play your class is fine. Your ability to work as a team is what your lacking. The games I’ve played with you, you spent them abusing your team. As soon as the first push fails it is everyone elses fault.

Yes you have been put in uneven matches, yes sometimes team mates will do illogical stuff. Abusing them doesn’t help. Making multiple post on forums as to why your better and every one else messed up your game is why your not improving.

Take some time to look at how you can improve instead of blaming it on every one else.

Thanks again for your input. I don’t believe my posts have claimed that I feel I am better. I am trying to get better, understanding what builds/classes work against others.

What people cannot overcome:

1. MMR Death Spiral
2. AFK’s
3. MM – I was teamed with a guy last night 3 times, and that guy intentionally had 0 points all 3 games.

Those 3 things have nothing to do with a players ability.

I have QQ’d a lot. And I am not a great player. But why in mid-emerald am I seeing 2 teammates go right home in Nifhel and stand there?

Also, all the elite layers were supposed to be way past emerald by now. Why are there still obvious mismatches?

To be clear, if there was no significant problem outside of what players feel are in their control I doubt there would be that much more thread like this than their otherwise usually are.

I get that for you it’s always on the individual no matter what but reality is there is a problem with the current system that can be extremely frustrating for a good chunk of the player base. No, not all who complain do so for equally legit reasons but to brush aside all like you do is plain dishonest and unreasonable.

Just be glad you aren’t experiencing what make ppl do these threads instead of whining about them appearing.
