So i started a solo q some minutes ago and anet has to do something about several things..
necros
s/D thieves
spirit rangers
stunlock warriors
in this solo q my team faced 3 necros
so why do you think necros are played so often atm (because they are op)
it was so ridiculous
and thats how it looks like if you used all ur cooldowns and the necro still has almost full hp and ds and you get oneshotted by conditons (and i am really not a bad mesmer)
Give me 3 necromancers any day instead of 3 spirit rangers or 3 warriors. I think you get what I am trying to say.
yea those are all soo ridiculous i mean if u get lucky you can kill a necro but then a warrior comes and u are perma cc’D or a spirit ranger with his condition oneshot and huge survivability in 1 vs 1

I should have take a screenshot about a game I played some days ago, 4 necros, 2 ranger (spirit of course ), 2 guardians and 2 warriors (i’m guilty here, stun lock warrior user :P ).
baldric i can understand you tho i have tried spirit ranger necro 33 thief and stunlock warrior just to see if they are hard to play and/or op….

Is there a reason why there are suddenly that many spirit rangers? I’m not reading all the patch notes for other classes that I’m not playing. Did spirits get a huge buff in one of the last patches?
Cause I remember that I heard spirits were weak a few months ago and when rangers where op cause of some pet buff all only used wolf for fear and were kiting with their bows and traps but didn’t see spirits back then.
Now every ranger at least 1 spirit and a lot have all of them + their pet + rock dogs. Annoying if there are also necros…
targeting is not that easy. tabbing always selecting spirits and clicking is hard. Makes them really strong 1 vs. 1 if you don’t bring tons of AoE cause the single attacks go just at the spirits lol.

This game is no longer about playing good, but more about your team composition. It’s plain boring to roll the meta and easily smash top guilds. No-Skill-Ranger, Spam-Mancer, Stunlock Baddies. Not enjoyable, not skillfull, not challenging.
Just plain boring.
Its simple you either go along the meta..or you are playing in a minefield ready to explode at the first mistake by the most random noob.
Honeslty i think warriors are broken too.Yeah their weapon skills can be countered because you know what they are doing due to obvious animations.
But then our dear warrior proceeds to activate berserkers stance..bam you cant blind his cc ,you dont have neough dodges,you cant kite him with cripple and chill=just run
Then he has access to endure pain and or stability..so gg trying to cc him or quickly burst him.And that wouldnt be bad if those freaking 8 sec the stance last werent enough for him to take you from 100 to 0 if you are dare to not go defencive..
Wheres the counter play??Why cant my melee d/d ele face this kitten AT ALL and my s/d ele has to run away until all his defence etc runs out which ends in me cant save the decap?Is there anything that can face this class in melee other than evade spam s/d thief?
And dont get me started on their disengage skills on gs and how the stupid signet heal lets them recover while you run for your life..Its all a kittening power creep.Anet keeps buffing and now things are in a whole new level of power..Who would have thought that something like sp rangers would even exist
Yeah, I remember once before Solo Arena came out playing Solo Q in what is now the Team Q, and I played against a team of 5 spirit rangers. I’m pretty sure that must mean that Spirit Rangers are super OP, because everybody’s running one.
