So i just had a match and everyone was solo que. I lost 2 pips and im on emerald division. Everyone on the enemy team is emerald and it looked like i had 3 sapphire on my team. The 3 of them couldnt win a single 1 vs 1 or team fight.
I dont understand this system. I have people on my team who are suppose to be better then me and the enemy based on rank yet we are losing bad. No the match wasnt even close. 500 -252 on legacy and i im sitting like what do i have to do? I win the 1 vs 1 fights on home or far and hold a 1 vs 2 for close to a minute and longer if im facing cele. And the blue ranked players cant take or hold another point.
But it is always nice later knowing that you were supposed to lose yet still pulled a victory, expecially if it was a close match. ^.^
See and this one we won 4 vs 5. I was duo que with guild mate and i only got 1 pip. What frustrates even more is the idea had we lost that match i would of lost a pip if i had one.
Its why i want to know my MMR. I should know if im average player thats need to be carried or if i have a high MMR and ive been asked to carry sapphires while im still in emerald.
You should never lose 2 pips solo that’s bad design. You are just one person and you get whacked like a mole with a hammer. If the matchmaking was working correctly multiple pip losing and winning games would be extremely rare but in reality they are very common. Even when you win and get 2 pips its bogus half the time last night I won a few 2 pip games solo we won most of them quite easily. We were huge underdogs and wiped the floor with them? We must be awesome. I think not. Most likely they weren’t very good at all to begin with because there whole rating methodology blows.
