Hey everyone

I just joined a pvp game and while joining, choosing map etc. , my computer crashes.
When i restarted my computer and got back in the game, my team was around 150 points behind. After a nice comeback we manage to win 500 – 480. So i expect a lot of points because we started 4 vs 5 and still won the game. Instead all i get is -24 points, for disconecting, even when my team wins the game i get minus points…

This is not how it should work at all … punishing a dc more than the fact that we won anyway.

I understand a loss of points if you lose the match because of a disconect but this is just a bad mechanic.

Ouch. That does hurt. I assume you got hit with dishonor as well? They probably should adjust their dishonor mechanic for honest disconnections, particularly if you manage to come back in and WIN the game

it´s even worse. I had been teamed up and we steamroled the oponent. My partner had a disconnect mid fight and rejoined. I got the loss despite clearly winning without disonnection …..

Yes indeed dishonor and it even counted as a loss in my game history …

while you were gone your team had to pull effort double time to keep the game close enough so a comeback was possible understand that first…

now i do agree you shouldnt lose points but i dont think you should gain any either… i say no rating change if you dc for w/e that special amount of time anet has set if you win

they could also make it where if you class swap in the middle of a game you wont gain rating either which would be nice imo….( i am 100% ok swapping prior to game start)
